The nautical journey between Alicante and Cádiz lasts approximately four days during which the crew can experience sailing for a long time at sea, taking advantage to practice their skills as skippers, participate in the navigation plan, perform guards and night navigation .

Together with a professional skipper who will carry out the navigation plan, the crew will participate in the tasks on board, maneuvers, guard shifts and route planning. This is undoubtedly one of the most suitable routes to acquire the ease and experience necessary before sailing alone.

On this trip you will have the possibility of crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, Cabo de Palos and Cabo de Gata. The forecast for this crossing, if the weather conditions allow it, is to make a single stopover in Almerimar.

The program of the crossing is subject to weather conditions that could force the modification of the initial planned plan. The skipper will also attend to the interests of the crew to adapt the navigation and schedules, modifying the initial program as long as it does not harm any crew member. However, as it is a long-stay voyage at sea, crewmembers are advised not to book airline or train tickets from the port of destination with a short timeframe.

The boarding will be done the first day: Marina Deportiva de Alicante at 12:00. Accommodation and instructions on life on board. There will be a few hours for the crew to organize the purchase of food and drinks and the departure is scheduled at 3:00 p.m.

This is a journey of long stay at sea between Alicante and Cádiz. The only planned scale will be in Almerimar during the time needed to refuel.

The third or four days will be disembarked (the duration of the crossing depends on the weather conditions) in Puerto América (Cádiz).

The boat
The Evasion III, is a ketch model Vagabond 47 built in the year 1979 in Taiwan.

It is a boat used mainly for school activity and cruises. It has a wide covered run to practice the maneuvers without having to stay in the bathtub, along with magnificent sea conditions.

It is a boat from 1979 very sailor and very livable. The cabins and bathrooms have the basic amenities. It is an old boat with good maintenance, but no frills. Ideal for relaxed and practical cruises.
