After a winter of basking in the Canarian sunshine, our ship will be making her way down to even sunnier climates; to the warm waters of the Caribbean.

This trip is for 32 days of exhilarating sailing, where you will become part of the crew, joining in with the watch system as you cross the Atlantic Ocean to reach the Caribbean island of Tobago. She will sail continuously from Tenerife, only stopping off for a break in the middle of her crossing at one of the islands of Cape Verde; a volcanic archipelago off the west coast of Africa. Situated in the Atlantic, 500km to the West of Senegal, these islands provide the perfect stop over. Restock and rebalance your sea legs, before embarking on the second half of your journey.

Your final destination of Tobago in the Caribbean is the smaller of the two islands of Trinidad and Tobago and is known for its glorious sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and beautiful tropical rainforest. Scarborough is the capital port city, home to the 18th-century ruins of Fort King George, and now home to the Tobago Museum. Tobago is rich with wildlife and is home to over 230 species of birds; its closeness to the mainland makes the island an ideal stopover point for migratory birds.

Boat details

Originally built with a wooden hull in 1902, her original purpose was to transport fish between fishing boats and back to the harbour. To ensure the fish remained fresh, the ship was built and rigged for speed.

During her working life, she was refitted with a steel hull and after several other owners, she was transformed in 1998 into a luxury passenger vessel. Renovated again in 2012, she was updated with all new safety features/equipment and all the modern comforts you could possibly want from a charter vessel.

With her graceful design and sailing lines, the ship is still very fast, and reliable, and is truly comfortable under full sail. Her build and modern rigging system, allows her to perform excellently both on the Ijsselmeer, Baltic Sea and out on the Atlantic ocean, with most of her time spent in the North & Baltic Sea when she isn’t making the voyage down to the Canary Islands or around the Caribbean.

Whether at the helm, on deck or in the cosy wheelhouse, the vessel is much loved by all her guests
- accommodation of 2 and 3 berth cabins makes her a perfect ship for families too.
