The Basic Training in Maritime Safety (BASIC SAFETY TRAINING) course will allow you to obtain the necessary knowledge to organize and control safety and emergencies on board.

If you have the qualification for sailing as Recreational Skipper (with the extension to 24m), Yacht Skipper or Yacht Captain and you want to dedicate yourself to sailing professionally, you will need to obtain this certificate.

Requirements:
- Attend 90% of the theoretical hours and all the practices
- Know how to swim and/or stay afloat
- Be of legal age (or be 17 years old and have parental authorization)

This course lasts 70 hours (45 hours of theory and 25 of practical training)

The course program conforms to the official regulations (Order FOM/2296/2022 of September 4, 2002) in compliance with the STCW Convention 78/10, Rules V72 and V73 and competition rules of Section AV72 and AV73

SCHEDULE:

-Theory:
1st week - Monday to Friday 3:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
2nd week - Monday 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. / Tuesday and Wednesday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

- Practices Thursday and Friday
(last 2 days): 09:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
