Course to obtain a navigation license in Vigo

Get your official license for boats and jet skis at an official school approved by the Autonomous Community of Galicia.

Now you have the opportunity to obtain the Navigation License (old title) in a single day and without an exam.

ATTRIBUTIONS:
- Allows you to govern motor boats up to 6 meters in length and jet skis.
- No power limit.
- Navigation distance: 2 nautical miles from any port, marina or place of shelter.
- Day navigation.

Requirements:

- Be 18 years old. Minors under 16-17 years of age can also access this qualification by previously presenting a signed authorization (ask us for a model) accompanied by the ID of the father/mother/guardian who signs said document.
- Pass a specific psychophysical aptitude test for recreational boating qualifications (a psychotechnical test similar to that of the driver's license).

Plan

Our fleet is located at the Real Club Náutico de Vigo. The total duration of the course will be 6 hours, of which 2 will be theory on board the ship or in the classroom and 4 of basic practices on board a ship from our fleet, approved by the Xunta de Galicia.

We will navigate the Vigo estuary, an optimal environment for the development of the course. Its blue waters, which run between traditional fishing villages, will be the scenario that witnesses the development of your practice to obtain a Navigation License, an ideal way to start managing recreational boats.

Specifically, during the practice on the boat we will develop the following concepts:
- Limitation to navigation on beaches (not marked or marked), in addition to their access channels.
- Government of vessels and regulations on maritime traffic and inland navigation in ports.
- A part of the International Regulation to Prevent Collisions.
