Sailing weekend in the blue sea of the Island of Elba

The style of the holiday is structured around sailing as much as possible, making guests learn the basics of navigation, trying to convey my true passion for sailing to everyone present.

It is not necessary to have experience with sailing or to have already sailed, with the desire to collaborate and the right spirit, this weekend will be perfect for learning the basics and spending wonderful holidays.

All navigation will be accompanied by moments of pure relaxation and good food, as well as the discovery of wonderful places on the Island of Elba that only our seas can offer us. For those who want, trekking can be organized in the various places that can be reached.

For those wishing to change departure dates or to extend the weekend by a few days, contact the skipper.

Plan

The activity will last 3 days, sailing on Friday morning and returning to the port of departure on Sunday.

Check - in boarding: from 9:00 to 11:00.
Check - out landing: from 12:00 to 20:00.

Friday: departure from the port of Cecina by 11. We sail for 5-6 hours towards Porto Azzurro, stop in a cove (Ortano, Barba rossa) and decide whether to spend the night in port or at anchor. You will have lunch and dinner on board.

Saturday: sailing towards Porto Ferraio or Marciana Marina with a stop at Viticcio where you will have lunch on board. In the evening we enter the port to dine in some typical restaurant of the area.

Sunday: walk in the village and departure for Cecina by 12. Once we arrive at our destination we should say goodbye.

If it rains you decide on the spot what to do always taking into account the state of the sea, the destinations can change according to the weather, if conditions permit we can decide the various stages together.

Other information

The port can be reached by car with parking inside, safe and free of charge, or by train, the station is only 2 km from the port.

Do not bring trolleys on board but comfortable bags to store. Bring sheets and a sleeping bag, a towel, and winter clothing (windbreaker or oilskin, gloves, shoes with white soles to be used only on the boat).

Children can come aboard.

On board the kitchen Monica is the cook and companion of the skipper, the galley must include the skipper and cook.

Extra expenses: galley, moorings, fuel. (from 0 to 50 euros)

- Included in the fee: skipper, cook, boat, final cleaning, fishing equipment.
- Excluded from the fee: meals on land, transfers to the port.
