First aid course for sailors in Madrid

The course is divided into three modules:

1- Basic life support: It includes the teachings and practices to effectively manage airway patency, correct positioning, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and additional rescue skills such as helping sufferers drowning, hemorrhaging and in shock.

2- Use of a defibrillator: This module is an initial level of training, and is designed so that boaters or divers in general (or any person with knowledge of the subject) are able to recognize the signs of sudden death to be able to administer first aid through basic life support techniques using an Automatic External Defibrillator, while activating local emergency medical services (EMU) and / or taking the necessary measures to evacuate the victim to the nearest medical center.

3- First aid: This module ends with the CPR / SVB first aid titration for adult victims with injuries that do not pose an immediate danger of death.
