The specialty certificate in Advanced Specific Health Training is mandatory for Captains, Skippers and Officers who must be in charge of the navigation watch on ships required to carry First Aid Kit A or B, as provided in Royal Decree 258/1999, of February 12.
The specialty certificate in Initial Specific Health Training is mandatory for all officers in charge of the engine room guard. Captains, skippers and officers who are in charge of the navigation watch on vessels are required to carry first aid kit C, according to the provisions of Royal Decree 258/1999, of February 12.
