Pitiusas Days Regatta, Keelboat sailing course

Leaving from Castellón, we participate in Las Jornadas Pitiusas, which consists of three regattas between the ports of Ibiza and Formentera.

It is one of the best regattas of the season due to the spectacular surroundings of the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, the atmosphere and the good weather (almost guaranteed).

It is aimed at all people who want to start or improve, in the practice of sailing cruising as well as in regatta. No previous experience is necessary.

We will teach it on our sailboat, a 42-foot Baltic very equipped and prepared for regattas and deep-sea cruising.

The course will be taught by a professional Skipper and Yacht Captain, Oceanic navigator and sailor (four Atlantic crossings, two of them in regatta), with more than 30 years of experience.

Plan

The course program would be as follows:

Wednesday (*): from 5:00 p.m., reception of the crew at RCN Castellón, it is also possible to embark in Ibiza on Thursday 27 from 5:00 p.m. (Transfer option Train station - RCN Castellón)

Thursday: For those who embark in Castellón, After dinner in Castellón around 1:00 Castellón - Ibiza crossing, from 5:00 p.m. reception of the crew that embark in Ibiza, and at 9:30 p.m. barbecue.

Friday: First regatta; Port of Ibiza - Port of San Antoni tour, leaving the Island of Ibiza on the port side.

Saturday: Second regatta; Puerto de San Antoni - Puerto de la Sabina (Formentera), leaving Conejera Island on the port side.

Sunday: Third regatta; Puerto de la Sabina - Port of Ibiza, leaving the Island of Formentera on the port side.

Monday, Optional (*): Crossing back to Castellón.

(*) It is possible to embark and disembark in Ibiza.

Necessary equipment to participate in the course: sleeping bag, non-black rubber sole shoes, water clothes, sailing gloves.

No previous experience is required.
