4-day voyage between Alicante and Cartagena

The nautical journey between Alicante and Cartagena lasts four days during which the crew will be able to enjoy coastal sailing, practice their skill as skipper, participate in the navigation plan, perform guards and live the experience of visiting unique environments for the recreational navigation and combine it with shore excursions.

Together with a professional skipper that will advise the crew on the points of interest during the navigation and will instruct those who want to take advantage of this journey to acquire the necessary fluency and experience before sailing alone.

In this coastal journey you will have the opportunity to visit the island of Tabarca and its marine reserve, Cabo de Santa Pola, Torrevieja and Mar Menor, Cabo de Palos and Cartagena, as well as the opportunity to do some night navigation (subject to the plan of navigation) and visit different ports.

Plan

The program of the crossing is subject to weather conditions that could force the modification of the planned program. The skipper will also attend to the interests of the crew to adapt navigation, scales and schedules, modifying the initial program as long as it does not harm any crew member.

First day:
Boarding at 11:00 in the Marina Deportiva de Alicante.
Accommodation and instructions on life on board.
There will be a few hours for the crew to organize the purchase of food and drinks.
Departure to sail at 13:00 approximately.

First, second, third and fourth day:
Depending on the weather conditions, sea state, wind and the preferences of the crew, the scales and crossings will be evaluated every day, being able to make stops for excursions on land or spend the night in the ports of Santa Pola, Tabarca, Marina de las dunes, Torrevieja, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena.

Fourth day:
Recalada in the Marina Deportiva de Alicante at approximately 17:00.

It was the second time I did this type of journey. Our skipper was not Jorge. I missed planning to see more coves and take advantage of the days. The day we went to a single cove in Ibiza, it was wasted, because we spent more time sailing to find the cove. I would propose to focus the journey on getting to know a single island.
