XXXV PEÑÓN DE IFACH TROPHY. CALPE - FORMENTERA - CALPE.

We are going to participate in the "TROFEO PEÑÓN DE IFACH" Regatta in its XXXV edition, it has been held since 1989. It will be held in the waters of Calpe (Alicante) and Formentera, and is organized by the Real Club Náutico Calpe, with the authorization of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and the support of the Balearic Sailing Federation. A level 1 cruise regatta, being the Regional High Altitude Championship.

We will do it with the First 40.7 for an approximate distance: 63 nautical miles. To participate in this regatta you must have a regatta license to participate, if you do not have it we can process it for you at a cost of €20 just for this regatta.

It is a good opportunity to get started or do a high altitude regatta. The dates are very good and the destination is unbeatable, such as the Island of Formentera. You will have Friday free to explore the Island.

Plan

FIRST DAY, Wednesday:

10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Crossing from Alicante to Calpe.
8:30 p.m. Reception of the rest of the sailors. Optional with a supplement of €50.

SECOND DAY, Thursday:

10:00 a.m. Departure of the 1st test from Calpe to Formentera.

THIRD DAY, Friday:

Rest day in Formentera.

9:30 p.m. Presentation of trophies for the 1st test.

FOURTH DAY, Saturday:

10:00 a.m. Departure of the 2nd test from Formentera to Calpe.
9:00 p.m. End XXXV PEÑÓN DE IFACH TROPHY.

FIFTH DAY, Sunday:

10:30 a.m. Return crossing from Calpe to Alicante. Optional with a supplement of €50.

It has been a very positive and interesting experience. Carlos is a very experienced skipper and also very pedagogical. Very attentive to everyone. We were only able to do it on Saturday and with a lot of wind. On Sunday we couldn't go out because of the storm. I hope they return the proportional amount to me.
