Flotilla cruise to the Ionian Islands – Western Greece with two catamarans and a sailboat.

SINGLE OR GROUP BOARDINGS
A catamaran/sailing boat vacation is, in itself, something different, beyond the usual norm; sailing on multiple boats is even more. Want to discover it? Join us in the fantastic, secluded, sun-kissed bays, with a deep blue sea and a group of friends who, pushed by the wind, will take you to discover the FABULOUS ISLANDS OF IONIAN GREECE. The catamarans and the boat will set sail from Corfu for the first session and from Zakynthos for the second, to sail the waters of the Ionian Sea and enjoy the beauty of these islands. There will be aperitifs under the stars or by moonlight.
This year, we've decided to sail the fabulous seas of Western Greece – the Ionian Islands – in August. We'll be doing two 10- and 11-day cruises – one week is too short and two is too long. Choose 10 or 11 days to enjoy your holiday in complete relaxation.

We will sail together among the thousand inlets of the various islands that we will encounter in the archipelago (Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Zakynthos, Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos, Atokos) within marine oases where we can sail under full sail, being lulled by the waves and then anchor to rest and take unforgettable baths in a turquoise sea of absolute beauty.

1st SHIFT: DEPARTURE DATE: 08/08/2026 at 17:00 - ARRIVAL DATE: 18/08/2026 at 09:00

2nd ROUND: DEPARTURE DATE: 18/08/2026 at 5:00 PM - ARRIVAL DATE: 29/08/2026 at 9:00 AM

YOU CAN REGISTER FOR BOTH SHIFTS!

In summer, the winds are constant. From June to the end of September, the Ionian Sea is dominated by winds from the northwest to the WNW. They generally build around midday, between force 2 and 5, and drop at sunset. It's ideal for beautiful afternoon sailing and lovely evenings at anchor, to enjoy the starry skies of Greece.
This archipelago consists of 120 islands, of which approximately 20 are inhabited.
This sea we sail today was once home to the boats of sailors who helped shape the history of the Mediterranean, spreading cultures and traditions. The Ionian islands of Greece are a paradise for sailors, thanks to their favorable climate and the opportunity to discover countless bays with crystal-clear water. The fishing villages offer characteristic Greek hospitality: a friendly welcome and world-famous cuisine.
Accompanied by a light mistral wind, we'll sail across crystal-clear seas, through colorful landscapes fragrant with Mediterranean scrub, retracing Ulysses's route to his beloved Ithaca. We'll visit Lefkas, Skorpios, Kalamos, Kastos, Atoko, Ithaca, and Kefalonia.
The experience of sleeping at anchor, lulled by the waves in the countless sheltered bays, will be unforgettable, where the only deafening sound will be the silence and the lights and chaos of everyday life will be but a memory. The wonder of a sunset aperitif, the wonder of being carried by the wind, and the pure, intense pleasure of sailing await you.
We look forward to seeing you to discover all this and much more!

  • Plan
The islands we'll visit along our route will most likely be these, but it will always depend on timing and weather. Some might even be skipped, depending on the skippers' final decision.
    LEFKADA
The island of Lefkada is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Ionian Sea. It boasts nearly 110 km of coastline, stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and breathtaking green landscapes. On this fabulous island, you'll find the typical colors of Greece, the authentic flavors of local produce, and a perfect balance between sea and mountains. The climate is typically Mediterranean, and the evergreen vegetation, often reaching right down to the sea, creates a unique spectacle. The characteristic fishing villages preserve the traditional island lifestyle and convey the warmth of their inhabitants to tourists. The island's tourist hub is Nidri, with its beautiful views of the islets of Scorpio, Madauri, and Sparti. In the capital, Lefkada, a movable bridge connects the island to the mainland, approximately 30 meters long. The town of Lefkada is very picturesque and lively, with its wooden and colored corrugated iron houses.
    KEFALONIA
Kefalonia is fun, good wine, and a variety of landscapes, golden beaches, and lake caves!
Unspoiled, where nature remains rich and fascinating, with mysterious caves, an interesting subsoil, thermal springs and underground waters, magnificent beaches, quaint villages, and rich archaeological finds, Kefalonia is a place of unique experiences. It is the largest island of the Ionian archipelago and lies off the western coast of the Peloponnese. Northeast of Kefalonia lies Ithaca, from which it is separated by a narrow strait. Its lush forests and extensive vineyards, which produce the delicious Kefalonian wine, have been renowned since ancient times. Its people are friendly and hospitable. Its highest peak, Mount Oenos, is a beautiful national park. The island also has a tradition of arts and literature. Characteristic local products include mandoles, the exceptional local robola wine, and honey.
    ITHACA
When it comes to Ithaca, one thinks of Ulysses, whose myth has fascinated and continues to fascinate adventurers and dreamers. Seen from the sea, Ithaca appears barren and rocky, but inland it amazes with pine forests and valleys. It is a place of great tranquility, an island suited to meditation. The island is located two miles from Kefalonia. The north of the island is characterized by its green color, especially olive trees and vineyards. The island's seabed is beautiful, as are the beaches. The northwestern part is not easily accessible by land but only by boat. To the south, evocative panoramas dominate with their rugged beauty, but the land is more barren.
    ZANTE
Zakynthos is a lush, green island that is part of the Ionian Islands. It is a unique Greek island, long ruled by the Venetians, whose legacy still remains. As mentioned, Venetian rule left a great legacy, which the 1953 earthquake almost completely destroyed. From that period, the beautiful 15th-17th century Venetian citadel remains, dominating from above and surrounded by ramparts. From up here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the bay. From a naturalistic perspective, Zakynthos is truly beautiful to see, with the contrast between the blue sea, the white sand, and the green vegetation, including numerous orange, fig, lemon, and walnut trees. For divers, this island is a paradise, especially in the southwest part of the island, where there are beautiful sites, and don't forget the caves. For those not interested in diving but who love nature, you should know that every year, starting in June, the Caretta Caretta turtles come at night and lay their eggs in the sand.
    MEGANISIS
Meganisi is a beautiful and picturesque island in the Lefkada archipelago, part of the Ionian Islands, and the largest of the smaller islands. Meganisi is an island of sailors with a landscape rich in vegetation, mountains, underground caves, and crystal-clear sea. The village of Vathy is a picturesque, tranquil village built around its harbor, with numerous taverns serving seafood specialties. Spartachori is the largest village on the island of Meganisi. It is a maze of narrow streets lined with white and blue houses. The village has beaches highly regarded for their clear waters. The most famous beaches on Meganisi are: Agios Ioannis, Atherinos, Limonari Bay, and Spilla. Meganisi's coastline is rugged and dotted with coves with clear green waters. In addition to the beautiful beaches, it's a beautiful sight to see the windmills scattered across its slopes, or to visit the numerous churches and monasteries on the island.
    KALAMOS
Located southeast of the island of Lefkada, this small island of just 20 square kilometers offers a breathtaking view, with peaks reaching 800 meters in height and lush Mediterranean vegetation, rich in maritime pines and olive trees. Kalamos is known as the island of dolphins; these magnificent mammals can often be seen peeking out from the shore, ready to be photographed by visitors. Kalamos Port is dominated by small stone houses and cobbled streets, making the island's main village an enchanting destination. The limited number of accommodations has allowed Kalamos to retain its natural, unspoiled splendor, a magical place perfect for anyone wishing to enjoy the scenic beauty and profound relaxation the island offers.
Here time seems to have stopped decades and decades ago.

    KASTOS - ATOKOS - PAXOS - ANTIPAXOS -

All the little islands are fabulous, the sea is stunning and the coves where you can drop anchor are so inviting that you never want to leave !
PS: The itinerary may change at any time at the captain's discretion, particularly in the event of adverse weather conditions.

Meet Giuseppe, the skipper
Verified professional skipper At Sailwiz since 2022
I began to love the sea and the wind at 11 and together with two other friends, with my same passion, we built a sailing dinghy. At 16 I started windsurfing and from there it has always been a crescendo. I spent three months at the beach during the holidays and never got off the table.
