Our history
Sailwiz was born in 2017 as an end-of-master program project for a group of passionate companions of the sea. After the academic phase, its founders decided to launch a test to the market and when verifying its success they decided to develop it. Sailwiz has managed to break through the barriers of nautical tourism: to go on vacation by boat you don't need to buy one or rent it anymore, you don't have to learn to sail or have a license, and you don't have to find more crew members to accompany you.

    Sailwiz was born as an academic project in the Esade Executive MBA in Madrid and was established as a company in May. In October it is presented at the Barcelona International Boat Show and wins the award for best startup of the year.
  • 2019
    Sailwiz reaches more than 300 ships offering plans in 25 countries and exceeds 10,000 registered users .
  • 2021
    Sailwiz leads the Spanish boat holiday market and begins its internationalization by launching its platform in Italian and English.
  • 2023
    Sailwiz reaches 25,000 users, accumulates more than 3 million euros in sales and is launched in the German market.
