Turkish schooners

Today, the traditional Turkish schooners formerly used in fishing have been converted into huge, high-capacity luxury boats, designed for pleasure boating.

These classic motorsailers are easily recognizable due to their wooden structure combined with an elegant design and large sails, carrying up to 3 large masts. Another of the characteristics that make the rental of Turkish schooners very attractive to sailors, is the opportunity to travel in a very spacious boat, since they have large capacity decks, improving the distribution of the rooms and the luminosity of the common spaces.

Turkish schooners are large vessels aimed at a more demanding public that is looking for a more exclusive and luxurious alternative. That is why at Sailwiz we wanted to open the opportunity for anyone to have access to enjoy this type of boat, through reservations place by place. This means that you can rent only your place (or as many as you want) individually, without having to look for a group of companions, which makes it possible for more people to enjoy this experience.

At Sailwiz we have three main destinations where you can enjoy a Turkish schooner cruise:

• Greece. A unique destination. Its more than 6,000 islands make it a highly recommended place to visit by sea. On our website you can find schooner sailing routes through the Dodecanese archipelago, especially through the famous island of Rhodes , and the Ionian islands of Corfu and Zakynthos (Zante), among the most touristic in summer.
• Turkey. You will find crossings through Fethiye, an emblematic city of the Turkish Mediterranean as well as through Kemer, located in the Gulf of Antalya.
• Croatia. The striking landscapes full of fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters in the navigation that connects the cities of Split and Dubrovnik, makes it a fascinating journey.
