Cíes Islands

The Cies Islands is one of the archipelagos belonging to the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, together with the Islands of Ons, Sálvora and Cortegada. The distance between the Cies Islands and Vigo is 14.5 km, by boat it is three quarters of an hour.

- Playa das Figueira: called the beach of the Germans, it is a nudist beach.

- Playa dos Viños: located at the end of Playa de Rodas.

1. Cíes Lighthouse Route: it is the most popular and also the longest, it reaches Monte Faro (7 kilometers, 2 hours and a half round trip). Upon reaching the end of the route you will have a complete overview of the Middle and North islands.

2. Route of the Porta da Faro: it reaches the Porta da Faro in the southern part of the island (5.2 kilometers, 1 hour and 45 minutes round trip). Where you can have incredible views with its turquoise waters.

3. Alto do Principe Route: it is the shortest route. You have a beautiful view of the Cíes Islands (3 kilometers, approximate duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes round trip).

4. Monteagudo Route: it is the route that reaches the Faro do Peito in Monteagudo (5.6 kilometers 1 hour and 45 minutes round trip).
