Cruise sailing course - regatta, Calpe - Formentera - Calpe, XXXI Peñón de Ifach Trophy 2019, for the days May 31 to June 03:

For the dates of May 30 to June 2 in which we have a Cruise - Regatta course that we participate in the Calpe Regatta - Formentera, XXXI Peñón de Ifach Trophy 2019

The Peñón de Ifach Trophy, is one of the most emblematic regattas of the year, and is scoring for the cruise territorial championship, so there is a good level of participants.

It is aimed at all people who want to start or improve, in the practice of the sailing cruise as well as in regatta.

We will impart it on our sailboat, a Baltic of 42 feet very equipped and prepared for regattas and cruising of height.

The course will be taught by Antonio, professional skipper and yacht captain, oceanic sailor and sailor (four Atlantic crossings, two of them in regatta), with more than 35 years of experience.

  • Plan
    The program of the course would be the following:

    - Wednesday, May 29: from 5:00 pm, reception of the crew in Calpe, distribution of cabins, and purchase of food. (Option to board in Denia on Tuesday May 29 before 9 am, for the transfer of the boat from Denia to Calpe).

    - Thursday, May 30: 9:00 theory of the maneuver of the sailboat and distribution of maneuver posts; 10:00 departure of the first test Calpe- Formentera.

    - Friday, May 31: morning and afternoon free to visit the island and its beaches, 9:30 pm trophies.

    - Saturday June 1: 10:00 departure of the second test Formentera - Calpe.

    - Sunday June 2: 10:00 end of the course (possibility of returning with the boat to Castellón).

    It is also possible to embark on Wednesday May 29 in the morning that we plan to make the transfer of the boat from Denia to Calpe, and on Sunday June 2 the return from Calpe to Castellón.

Other information
Equipment necessary to participate in the course: sleeping bag, non-black rubber-soled shoes, warm clothes and water, sail gloves.

No previous experience is necessary, and it is one of the best regattas of the season for the environment and good weather (almost insured).

    Sorprendida muy gratamente al navegar con Antonio,como profesor muy didactico en la enseñanza de maniobras,con mucha templanza a la hora de enfrentarse ante situaciones adversas de navegacion.Recomendable para disfrutar la travesia o regata con un amante del mar.
