Ruta de la Sal 2019, Easter, from April 18th to 21st

Our sailboat returns to the Ruta De la Sal 2019 regatta, from April 18 to 21, in which you can participate with us:

We are already registered in the Ruta de la Sal 2019, Pepe Ferres trophy memorial, which is celebrated from April 18 to 21.

We will leave in the eastern version from Denia, and that makes the route Denia - South of Formentera - Tagomago Island - Punta Moscarte - Port of San Antonio de Ibiza.

You can participate with us, on our sailboat "Selene III", Baltic 42 DP, really prepared for high-level racing (regatta maneuver, two spinakers, new radial pentex racing sails, two poles, etc.).

El Capitan, professional and yacht captain, ocean sailor and sailor (four Atlantic crossings, two of them in regatta, and hundreds of high-altitude regattas in the Mediterranean), with more than 35 years of experience.

In the last four editions in which we participated, we were among the first three in our category, FIRST IN 2018 in Modern Vintage and SECOND in Trainig with an amateur crew, this year we will try to at least equal the classification.

Plan

The program would be the following:

Optional: On Monday April 15 we will make the transfer journey from Castellón to Denia, who may be interested to embark on Sunday, April 14, in the afternoon, it would be included. Also on Monday April 22 we will make the return journey from Denia to Castellón, which would also be included. (between these dates you could spend the night on the boat).

Wednesday 17/04: from 5pm, purchase of food for the crossing, reception of crew and dinner at the RCN in Denia.

Thursday 18/04: 9: 00h Breakfast at the RCN of Denia, explanation of the maneuver of the ship, 13:00 Departure to the sea, 14:00 Departure from the regatta.

Saturday 20/04: 20: 00h, in Ibiza, Delivery of trophies and dinner for sailors.

Sunday 21/04: 8: 00h, Crossing back to Denia. 17:00 Approx, arrival in Denia and end of the regatta.

Monday 22/04 (optional): 6:00 Travesía Denia - Castellón

Other information

Equipment necessary to participate in the course: sleeping bag, non-black rubber sole shoes, gloves,
warm clothes and water (water is worth any raincoat). Also if you have is not bad to bring a
small flashlight or front, and knife.
