Hello sailors, we are going to Cádiz to sail around the bay and go to the area.

We will board Puerto Sherry on Wednesday night (spending the night on board the ship), we will sail across the bay to Chipiona, Sanlucar de Barrameda or Rota and we will enjoy these beautiful places.

The ship will be our home, we will sail, we will eat, we will dress up, and we will rest.

We will go to the city of Cádiz for a visit, strolling its streets where we find parades, chirigotas, stunning costumes, humor, irreverent lyrics, satire and carelessness. The masks where you dress up as a character that you can't be in real life, is the catharsis of carnival.

    Boarding at Puerto Sherry in the evening, reception by the crew and distribution of cabins.

    In the morning breakfast, safety and navigation briefing.

    We set sail towards the spectacular bay of Cadiz to sail towards Chipiona, docking in its beautiful fishing port. We will stroll through its streets, visit Sanlucar de Barrameda and sleep moored in the port.

    The next day we will sail back south to see the beach of La Caleta and enter the bay to the charming town of Rota, with its Spanish-American base. Walk and have some tapas in the city.

    The next day we left Rota heading to Cádiz to visit the city and enjoy its famous Carnival.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

A common fund of between €50 and €60 will be created among the crew to make purchases, pay for diesel and the ports where we dock.
*Bring a personal towel, rubber shoes NOT BLACK or mountain shoes, light warm clothing/water and a sports bag. NO HARD suitcases or trolleys please.

    Highly recommended. There are no similar experiences. Being a small group, you get a lot out of it. Luis is a professional skipper with a lot of experience, and everything you learn from him is worth its weight in gold. We not only docked and undocked, but we also sailed and motored, and anchored, so it was a great experience.
