After flying into Havana Airport (HAV) or Veradero Airport (VRA), you may either take our optional airport shuttle described below in "Other information" or you can take a bus to the marina from either airport. Expect about a 3 hour drive.

Day 1: Departure from Cienfuegos
Saturday, 3-5pm

Day 2: Cayo Largo del Sur
This is the second largest island in the Archipelago and has some of the best beaches you will see on this vacation. With bright white sand and multiple species of turtles in the area, you will find yourself in paradise.

Day 3: Cayeria los Majaes
This group of small yet beautiful islands is a wonderful place to snorkel. It has shallow pools with extremely warm water temperatures so enjoyable to float around in. You may even find a family of iguanas in the western pool!

Day 4: Cayo Alcatraz
Beautiful white beaches with interesting sealife. Go snorkelling and spot manta rays and stingrays in the deeper waters or enjoy the more peaceful shallower pools.

Day 5: Cayo Rico
The ideal place to lounge on the soft sand, go for a swim in incredibly blue water, and grab a tropical cocktail at one of the beach bars. You may spot some more friendly iguanas here at Cayo Rico.

Day 6: Cayo Estopa
The island is uninhabited and surrounded by deep water, inviting you to toss a line and try to catch dinner for tonight.

Day 7: Cayo Rossario
Another island with no human habitants, but many from the sea. Here you can snorkel at a spectacular reef where you have the chance to see barracudas, groupers, moray eels, lobsters and various sharks.

Day 8: Cayo Cantiles
This island is uninhabited too, except the few workers of the monkey sanctuary the give the island its name 'Monkey Island.'

Arrival back into Cienfuegos
Saturday, 9-10am

Greece trip (Saronic route) was really nice and I discovered there is a whole different life out there when you are sailing, living on boat and staying in marinas of beautiful little Greek costal towns. They made the experience carefree, skipper Jan took a good care of things. And although 9 of us did not know each other before - we were a great crowd and had amazing fun! would recommend this for sure
