The itinerary that I propose is to discover Northern Sardinia and Southern Corsica: during a sailing holiday it is good to always keep in mind that the precise itinerary is agreed on the basis of the weather conditions and then also of personal wishes, we will try therefore to always sail under sail.
From the north of Sardinia we have proposed various itineraries for all tastes: we will have the opportunity to visit the Maddalena archipelago and the Valle della Luna, a galaxy of islands and islets surrounded by a turquoise sea, one of the most evocative landscapes in the world, which is under special protection for its naturalistic value.
For the more intrepid sailors it will also be possible to cross the mythical Bocche di Bonifacio known by sailors for the accelerations of the wind and currents. We could thus discover the magnificent southern coast of Corsica, the islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo and the white limestone cliffs of Bonifacio overlooking the sea. From here it will be possible to continue along the coast of Corsica both towards the west and towards the north-east to discover a wild and often uncontaminated territory, characterized by the very clear colors of its sea and by a feeling of peace and tranquillity.
Depending on the weather conditions in the strait and the will of the crew, it will be possible to descend along the north-east coast of Sardinia, passing the Costa Smeralda to reach the Olbia area, thus experiencing a spectacular change of landscape. We will pass from the granite cliffs of Gallura to the large and imposing limestone cliffs of the Golfo degli aranci and the island of Tavolara, places full of history and legends, from the king of the smallest kingdom in the world to the golden-toothed sheep, all wet by crystal clear emerald waters. In this case you can disembark directly in the port of Olbia or nearby.
PLACE OF EMBARKATION AND DISEMBARKATION
The embarkation of our holidays will be mainly in Palau, which can be reached in about an hour by bus from Olbia airport. As for the landing, however, it will take place directly at La Maddalena. In this way, those who want to spend a last day relaxing will already find themselves in a magnificent place where they can enjoy the last rays of the sun and a dip in some bay or a last aperitif at sunset! From here it will be very easy to return to Palau thanks to the very frequent and cheap ferry service and then reach Olbia by bus.
As seen previously, it will be possible to sail towards Olbia and land directly there, in any case we will take care to always find an easy and accessible solution to reach the plane or ferry in time for the return to land.
