Expedition for the Azores purpose (Sao Miguel-Faial)

We are Elena and Levin and we travel around the world on our sailboat and we have created OceanLab as an oceanographic research platform in order to collaborate with research projects to contribute to the conservation of seas and oceans. Expeditions are a way in which we give people who want to collaborate with us the opportunity to be on board in our floating house with us for a few days. (not a charter).

The money goes to the expenses of food, fuel, moorings and to support the project so that we can continue to grow and acquire more visibility and scientific equipment.

Plan

Boarding June 18 in Sao Miguel

Disembark 24 June in Faial

If due to flight issues it is necessary, you could enter the night before or leave the next morning.

Depending on the availability of mooring, it is possible that boarding or disembarking will take place in a cove in Dinghy if it is not possible to enter the port

Availability: 4 people (2 double cabins)

Each journey is unique and unrepeatable. Everything will depend on the weather conditions we find and what we decide together to do. In all expeditions, data will be collected for scientific research on projects we carry out.

The food is all homemade and healthy. It will be agreed with the crew before the trip to take into account possible allergies or intolerances.
