Starting in the romantic little town of Vrsar, where the famous Casanova vacationed several times, the journey continues to the beautiful old town of Rovinj and on to Pula with its Roman amphitheater. A trip to Poreč, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Euphrasian Basilica, is also possible.
A side trip to Venice is also possible – weather permitting. Dolphins are often seen in the Lim Fjord and the islands of the Kvan Bay. Culture enthusiasts will also find plenty to discover: for example, on Brijuni, in Pula, or Zadar, guided tours to interesting historical sites can be booked individually.
Overnight stays along the way alternate between bays and marinas. Culinary delights are also an integral part of these trips. Traditional konobas (small, local restaurants) invite you to linger. Croatian cuisine is very diverse: local fresh fish, mussels, hearty soups, grilled steak, and delicious desserts.
On this special voyage, we have the renowned photographer Volker Wasserthal on board. Volker will be giving a photography workshop during this trip; this is included in the price of the trip and is suitable for both beginners and experienced photographers.
Depending on their knowledge and photographic equipment, the workshop content will be individually tailored to the participants. Joint image reviews on board provide an opportunity for photographic exchange and highlight potential areas for improvement. No special equipment is required; you can even participate with your smartphone and learn tips and tricks for better photos.
