On this journey between Sevilla (Puerto Gelves) and Cádiz we will deserve the Guadalquivir.

We will make the crossing in two stages. From Chipiona to Cádiz, where we will spend the night and the next day we will descend the Guadalquivir in a navigation of approximately 6 hours.

We will arrive to Cádiz, Puerto América.

We will sail through the Guadalquivir, in a frame full of history and beauty, we will leave behind Coria and the Puebla del río, with its fishing boats moored on the banks of the river.

Near the mouth of the river, we will enjoy places like the marshes or the Doñana reserve.

During this trip the crew can enjoy river navigation, practice your skills as crew, participate in the navigation plan and live the experience of visiting unique environments for recreational navigation in the Guadalquivir river.

The boat
The Evasion III, is a ketch model Vagabond 47 built in the year 1979 in Taiwan.

It is a boat used mainly for school activity and cruises. It has a wide covered run to practice the maneuvers without having to stay in the bathtub, along with magnificent sea conditions.

It is a boat from 1979 very sailor and very livable. The cabins and bathrooms have the basic amenities. It is an old boat with good maintenance, but no frills. Ideal for relaxed and practical cruises.

The course fulfilled everything expected, we had an excellent ratio of students (3 students and a skipper), favoring the navigation time of each student as well as maintaining a certain distance (COVID). Juan Alberto was close, explained everything clearly and answered all the questions and needs that we had. More than recommended experience.
