Join us for an adventure in Thailand in the Andaman Sea Region. We sail between breathtaking cliffs that come straight out of the water, sit back under the palm trees to take in the scenery and explore coral reefs to discover what lies below. With perfect conditions for easy sailing and learning if you so choose, Thailand offers an ideal experience for everyone. We spend our time off the boat exploring forested islands and diving into stunning lagoons with the clearest emerald water. Not only is Thailand beautiful, the local people are extremely kind and the cuisine caters to all tastes. Join us in Thailand for an unforgettable experience sailing in paradise.

This experience is extremely laid back and flexible so you can spend your days how you choose. Mix time sailing with snorkelling, basking in the sun and exploring the less populated parts of the area before heading into town for a nice meal of local food. On this trip you will find that the skipper and the new people joining you on board love traveling and going on new adventures just as much as you do! The itinerary is not fixed and the plans are made according to the weather and winds just like real sailors should do!

This trip is unique because the skippers have a great focus on sustainable travel. We will limit plastics on board and collect plastic garbage as well as encourage the group to immerse themselves in the new cultures of these amazing places. Join us on an adventure where you will connect with nature and act like a local, respecting the Earth and the natives at each new spot we anchor. This wonderful experience will open your eyes to new cultures and you will leave it with new friends as well as a new outlook on travel.

Plan
Departure will be on the first day at 16:00 in the Phuket Marina. You will return to the same place on the final day around 9:00.

The plan for the week is as follows:

KOH KUDU YAI:
Take in the scenery in the Phang Nga Bay with its limestone cliffs and vibrant waters. We will visit one of the hidden lagoons also known as ‘hongs’ in Thai, and anchor at an isolated beach to enjoy a peaceful break. It's the best way to begin our sailing adventure in Thailand!

KOH PHANAK:
The yachts each carry small dinghies that we use to explore hidden lagoons. Surrounded by towering rock walls covered with vegetation with the clear blue sky and sun shining down is an image you will not soon forget.

RAILEY BEACH, KRABI:
Railey Beach assures you that you truly are in paradise, with strolls under high cliffs, the opportunity to enjoy the weather and white sand under a palm tree, and go out to a Thai restaurant for a wonderful meal. Kick back and enjoy a local beer while you watch the sunset dip beneath the cliffs of the other islands on the horizon.

KOH HONG:
Enter another world in Koh Hong where impossible limestone forms covered in greenery protect a great lagoon. Go for a swim and take it in. This magical lagoon is a must-visit for sailing trips in Thailand.

PHANG NGA BAY:
Go on an expedition through the island’s jungle with its beautiful vegetation. Even just a short walk to a lookout point will expose the island’s incredible wildlife with its towering trees and variety of animals.

KOH PHI PHI DON:
Here we can explore the depths of the island, snorkelling to discover its sea life below. A nearby village enhances the experience with its perfectly fresh seafood and surprising monkey beach. Head to one of the bars along the beach for cold drink and fireshow. This island will not disappoint.

SNORKELING AND DIVING IN THAILAND:
Snorkeling is truly accessible here as there are coral reefs near almost all of the mooring locations. If we are lucky we will spot a Sergeant-Major fish which comfortably eats out of your hand! If you so choose, we can have an introductory diving course with professional instructors who will take you to see turtles, small sharks, and who knows what else!

KOH PHI PHI LEY:
Often the highlight of the trip, this beach at night is truly magical. A quick snorkel shows you one of the most fascinating underwater sights, glowing plankton. You will never want to leave Koh Phi Phi Ley.

KOH KHAI NUI:
This miniature island is home to just one restaurant, giving us time to truly relax and take in the beauty of Thailand. The vibrant colors and local flavors somehow surprise us yet again as we enjoy our meal on the water.

REGATTA DAY IN THAILAND:
On our final day we will put our sailing skills to the test. Each of the crews will compete in a regatta to see who is the best! Everyone’s competitive sides are sure to come out.

I usually fly solo when traveling, and it never occurred to me to sign up for a package tour. But I took a gamble here and they exceeded my expectations. They have somehow figured out how to get adults to buy into a sincere spirit of group adventure and camaraderie without it ever feeling forced. And obviously, the locations are beautiful, the other people are engaging, the sailing is fun (you'll grow in confidence throughout the week), and it's clear that the Dominick and his team really care about the experience they are creating. You can easily do this trip alone, with friends, or with your significant other. I'm sure I'll sail with them again.

Stop thinking about sailing with them... and just book it. You’ll love it!
Your fellow crew members are a wonderful bunch – and we had the most laid-back skipper ever to roam the Med. The scenery is amazing and varied: you’ll moor-up in a port one night amongst super-yachts then drop anchor the following night in a nearly-deserted bay. You’ll learn so much if you’ve never sailed before, but it’s all really relaxed.
I’m so glad I took the plunge – you will be too.
Maybe see you out there one day soon...

Badly organized trip, old boat not prepared with equipment for the entire crew and unprofessional skipper (untrustworthy, drinking durin the sailing, etc.).
It could have been an excellent week, it's a pity.
