Starting in the romantic little town of Vrsar, where the famous Casanova vacationed several times, the journey continues to the beautiful old town of Rovinj and on to Pula with its Roman amphitheater. A trip to Poreč, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Euphrasian Basilica, is also possible.

A side trip to Venice is also possible – weather permitting. Dolphins are often seen in the Lim Fjord and the islands of the Kvan Bay. Culture enthusiasts will also find plenty to discover: for example, on Brijuni, in Pula, or Zadar, guided tours to interesting historical sites can be booked individually.

Overnight stays along the way alternate between bays and marinas. Culinary delights are also an integral part of these trips. Traditional konobas (small, local restaurants) invite you to linger. Croatian cuisine is very diverse: local fresh fish, mussels, hearty soups, grilled steak, and delicious desserts.
On this special voyage, we have the renowned photographer Volker Wasserthal on board. Volker will be giving a photography workshop during this trip; this is included in the price of the trip and is suitable for both beginners and experienced photographers.

Depending on their knowledge and photographic equipment, the workshop content will be individually tailored to the participants. Joint image reviews on board provide an opportunity for photographic exchange and highlight potential areas for improvement. No special equipment is required; you can even participate with your smartphone and learn tips and tricks for better photos.

Possible destinations we can still reach, weather permitting:

Dinosaur tracks on the small uninhabited island of Fenoliga
The blue grotto on the island of Cres – if you dare, you can dive into it.

Hike to the 4,000-year-old village of Lubenice and enjoy the magnificent view, capturing it in photographs. With a bit of luck, we might even be accompanied by dolphins, which live in the Kvarner Bay.

The car-free island of Silba, with its 300 inhabitants, invites us on a photo walk.

Pag, Rab, Krk; two of the three islands are on the map. Opatija, the spa town from the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy

Rabac – here we can walk up and down the gorge all the way to Labin

Cape Kamenjak – those who are brave can jump from the rocks, which rise up to 16m above the crystal-clear water.
Zadar, with its rich history and beautiful old town, offers wonderful subjects for photographers, from architecture to street photography.

A fantastic trip. Peter, the skipper, was a pleasant man, gave lots of tips and answered every question in detail. The night trips were a particular highlight for me. I'd be happy to do it again.
