The stage in detail:
Leg 1:
Is this actually the start of our Atlantic crossing and does it go all the way to Mindelo on São Vicente?
You can also join the Atlantic crossing from Mindelo to Martinique, or the entire route, approximately 3000 nautical miles. We also offer these trips here on the platform.
Duration Leg1: approx. 8-10 days
Duration of Leg 2: approx. 20 days
Duration Leg 1 & 2 approx. 5-6 weeks

Route Leg 1:
We start in Tenerife and sail in a southwesterly direction.
This first leg serves for acclimatization, the change of rhythm, and fine-tuning of the crew. We are taking advantage of the first effects of the northeast trade winds and the Canary Current.
If you're on Leg 1, your destination will be Mindelo, the cultural hotspot of Cape Verde, with its unique flair. São Vicente is also known as the music island of Cape Verde. It's definitely worth spending a few days there.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english and german. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

Your requirements profile:
You are a motivated, adaptable and team-oriented crew member.
You have already gained initial offshore experience, are of course seaworthy and ready to actively participate in the watch system.
Respect for the open sea is mandatory for you.

Costs & Included Services:
The cost for the berth for Leg 1 from Tenerife to Mindelo is: €990
The cost for the berth for Leg 2 from Mindelo to Martinique is €1990.
The cost for the berth for the ENTIRE trip from Tenerife to Martinique is: €2950

All prices quoted include:
Bed linen, towels and final cleaning.

Not included are the onboard kitty for food, any port fees, fuel consumed, and your travel to/from the starting and destination ports.

The onboard kitty is approximately €250 per person per week.
All expenses incurred during the voyage, such as provisions, harbor fees, fuel, etc., are paid from the ship's kitty. All crew members contribute equally to the kitty. The skipper is exempt from expenses by the crew.

Boat details

Fleet Lagoon 440. Equipped for long-distance cruising.
In addition to 2 wind generators and 5 solar panels, we also have a watermaker on board that produces about 30-40 liters of fresh water per hour.

The pantry is also equipped with all necessary cooking utensils.
Among other things, 2 refrigerators, a 3 burner gas stove and a reverse osmosis fresh water system.

We take a maximum of 6 guests on our trips.

Great sailing trip through the Croatian islands.
As a couple, we spent a week with four other (previously unknown) people on Chtis's catamaran.
It was a fantastic trip with great weather, a fantastic crew and a top skipper.
