Do you want to prepare your PER exam while you browse and do all the practices of the degree?

The PER on board course gives you the opportunity to attend face-to-face classes while sailing on a sailboat. For 7 days, you will receive theoretical training on board and you will be able to spend the night on the boat. It is a totally different and very immersive experience, more suitable to prepare for the exam since you will learn first-hand everything related to the exam syllabus.

During this week you will not only attend the theoretical classes, but you will also do all the navigation practices of the title: Motor (16 hours), Extension (24 hours) and Sailing Qualification (16 hours). Access to a latest generation online platform.

We will sail through Ibiza and Formentera, embarking and disembarking in Valencia.

The PER title with the complementary practices carried out will enable you to govern sailing and motor boats up to 24 meters in length at a distance of 12 miles from the coast and also to make the journey between the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.

In addition to passing the exam and the corresponding practices, to be able to apply for the PER title you need to be over 18 years old at the time of taking the exam and present a psychotechnical certificate.

Day 1
Boarding in Valencia. We familiarize ourselves with the boat, reviewing the location and operation of all the equipment and elements of the boat (kitchen, bathrooms, electronics, standing and working rigging, engine, safety equipment, etc ...). We will distribute the cabins by consensus or by lottery. Keep in mind that you will have to share it. We will also do the shopping for groceries, previously making a shopping list and then we will go to the supermarket.- We will carry out the distribution of tasks on board, forming teams and making schedules for daily tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc.). Finally, we will do a study of the meteorology and based on it we will plan the route, organizing navigation for the following days.

We head to Ibiza and Formentera, according to the route we have chosen according to the weather. We will carry out coastal and inter-island navigation, in a few days where we will learn to navigate by motor and sail, we will practice different courses (upwind, cross, stern), we will position ourselves on the chart by means of delays and markings, we will practice man overboard and anchor maneuvers, We will enter and leave different ports and anchorages, we will practice the boarding regulations, etc. On Thursday morning we will set sail for the base port, doing night sailing and with the aim of reaching Valencia to sleep.

Day 7
Already in Valencia, we will carry out maneuvers in port: we will practice berthing at the tip and ropes, back navigation, ciaboga, etc. At noon there will be the dismissal of the course, delivery of certificates and disembarkation.
