At 13.00 we will embark on Getxo Kaia's "I" jetty, sail along the coast, spotting the cliffs of Punta Galea, the beautiful beaches of our coastline, the Old Port of Algorta, the emblematic lighthouses and towers that dot the coast. Later we will enter the Ría de Bilbao, sail under the oldest suspension bridge in the world. We will keep an eye on the vestiges of industry that still stand and evoke past times, but not so far, in which life in Bizkaia and its estuary was harder.
On the way down the Ria we will see a delicious marmitako, a traditional fisherman's meal, stewed with the love of an Amatxu and watered with the rich wines of the neighboring Rioja Alavesa.
