"If you dream of white sand beaches and want to enjoy the Caribbean climate in our colder times, you do not have to wait for summer: The Caribbean is without doubt the place of your dreams!

This Easter we will be enjoying a spectacular sailing tour through the Lesser Antilles or also called Lesser Antilles. This group of small islands is famous for gathering the best places to sail, anchor and savor the Caribbean life with which many dream daydreams. Do not dream anymore and go for a perfect experience in the Caribbean Sea! "

Why choose the Caribbean?

Besides being especially attractive for sailing, the conditions are ideal, with constant winds (called trade winds) blowing usually at 20 knots, temperatures close to 30º all year round, finding the water at an ideal temperature any month around 26º thanks to its eternal sun, and the proximity between the islands allows to navigate between lagoons with only a few hours "

"We offer you the possibility of sailing in a sailing boat for individual seats, which is also the most current and economic, putting the nautical available to any pocket. In this sailing boat vacation, you will participate in a social and personal adventure, you will meet people and you will make friends with people who travel like you "

Did you know?

Much of the scenes in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" were filmed in the Tobago Cays, a group of five uninhabited cays with phenomenal lagoons full of green turtles, coral reefs, colorful fish and crystal clear waters. The dream of any diver! But you do not have to be an expert diver to enjoy it all because there is a marine park, Tobago Cays Marine Park, where it is possible to snorkel and swim with sea turtles and many other things ...! "

How is the trip?

The daily routine of your sailboat holiday is very simple ... Imagine that you get out of bed and if you feel like it, you directly take a dip in the sea, which you have a few meters away from you. Breakfast on the deck / terrace, some activity such as swimming, snorkeling, etc. and we anchor towards our next cove to eat. These crossings will normally be short, one or two hours, which we will take advantage of to sunbathe and relax on deck. Afterwards, bath, food, nap ... lying in the sun, and finally perhaps, changing our cove to spend the night, in which, depending on the point of the map, you can go out to enjoy the party of the place or get on we party on board or on the beach.

During your sailing boat holidays we will accommodate a maximum of 8 people including the skipper and the sailor. The boat will be our apartment and our means of transport.

To start our sailing boat holidays, we will stay at the Marina Du Marin, Le Marin, Martinique, in a cafeteria near the boarding pontoons, Saturday April 13, 2019 to talk about safety rules, behavior on board, knowledge of the boat, etc. and we prepare the list of the purchase of the provisions for the sailboat trip under the instructions of the skipper.

Once the shopping list is drawn up, we go to a supermarket nearby. Doing this is a great savings for the crew's pockets, since it allows you to eat and drink on the boat, in most cases, and also ensures that all crew members will be able to consume their favorite products. However, if there is enough quorum among the crew, there will also be the option to eat in restaurants in the coves we visit.

Upon returning from the purchase, after stowing and put the boat to sea, we had dinner and the next day early in the morning we will set sail to St. Lucia, where once anchored, we bathed, swam, dived ... and started to enjoy our sailing boat holidays in the Caribbean.

Plan
Duration:

8 days and 7 nights: We meet and sail from Martinique to Grenada all week. Possibility of hiring another week to navigate throughout the island of Grenada.

Itinerary:

Martinique - Saint Lucia - Saint Vincent - Bequia - Mayreau - Tobago Cays - Union Island -Small Saint Vincent - Grenada

Shipment:

In the Marina du Marin, Le Marin, Martinique, Saturday, April 13, 2019

Disembarkation:

We arrived in Grenada on Saturday April 20, 2019. Possibility of staying overnight until Monday April 22, 2019 and / or hire another week to navigate the entire island of Grenada.

Day 0. MARTINIQUE:

Arrival at the airport of Fort de France. Transfer to the port of Le Marin (30 mins.) To board and check-in on the ship and purchase the necessary supplies for the trip, although fruit, vegetables and fresh products are on the other islands, it is interesting to take off This arduous task to then be unconcerned and enjoy to the fullest. Once installed, we can take our first aperitif enjoying the first tropical sunset. The next day early in the morning and after doing all the papers to leave the country, we embark on our sailboat and we will head towards the island of Santa Lucia.

Day 1. MARTINICA - SAINT LUCIA:

Saint Lucia is one of the eight independent islands in the Lesser Antilles. To the north, in Rodmy Bay, we will anchor and use to change Caribbean dollars and pay permission to visit later the Pythons (in the southwest), the authentic icons of the island, two 800-meter peaks that emerge from the sea and that are represented in The country's flag with two triangles. In the village of Soufrière, the base of Petit Piton, the smallest of the twin pinnacles, we will enjoy one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Caribbean. We will also anchor in the beautiful bay of Marigot, famous pirate hideaway and where we will leave the country. On the beach there are pretty lively bars with marches ...

Day 2. SAINT LUCIA - BEQUIA:

We will sail to reach the first island of the Grenadines, Bequia, (which belongs to Saint Vicent and the second largest of this paradisiacal archipelago) and after a pleasant navigation, we will anchor in its huge bay and we will enter the country. Halfway we will pass by the beautiful island of Saint Vincent, with its mountains plunging into the sea. Once there, we can swim, dive, go shopping to different shops, meet the peculiar people of the place, make trips with Jeeps or rest with a good nap on the boat, as you wish. Also on this journey, there are many possibilities to see flying fish, dolphins and even whales. Be aware!

Day 3. BEQUIA - TOBAGO CAYS: We will head to the Tobago Cays, the famous islands that are frequently the representative image of the Caribbean. We arrived in less than an hour (2 nautical miles). The lagoon formed by the wide coral reef is protected allowing you to swim with turtles and watch thousands of exotic fish. If you like to snorkel, this is your moment! This beautiful lagoon surrounds the five small islands of the small archipelago of Tobago Cays and constitutes one of the paradises for the lovers of the sea. It is known as the most beautiful lagoon in the Caribbean, so it is not surprising to see boats around it.

Day 4. TOBAGO CAYS - MAYREAU:

After enjoying a full day of the splendid diversity of the lagoon, we will leave the Tobago Cays to reach the island of Mayreau. We will be anchored in a sheltered bay with a paradisiacal beach facing west. The most intrepid and in good shape can venture up the road uphill that will take them to the top of the mountain from which you can see the entire archipelago of Las Grenadines. On the small island of Mayreau is one of the greatest exponents of the virgin Caribbean. It is possible to border without finding practically no inhabited nucleus since most of its 300 inhabitants live in the town of Old Wall, in the high part of the southwest of the island. You can not miss a stroll through this small village, where in addition to reggae bars and restaurants, there are colorful shops of local rum and a picturesque stone church with the lintels of the doors and windows painted red.

Day 5. MAYREAU - UNION ISLAND:

We will sail to Union Island, the southernmost of the Grenadines where we will spend the rest of the day on land and we can do some shopping ... On the way there we will make a stop on the tiny island of Mopion, very popular with tourists by the fact of having planted only one umbrella in the middle of the sand. We will have a fun time making photos while sitting next to "the umbrella".

Day 6. UNION ISLAND - PETIT SAINT VINCENT:

In Union Island we will leave the country of the Grenadines, because we will head to Petit Saint Vincent, a beautiful private island where the exclusive "Hide Away" Hotel is located. The resort blends completely with the landscape. This is an essential stop; the lagoon and the postcard beach you will definitely like. Good time to refuel and refill the fresh water tank on the neighboring island of Petite Martinique.

Day 7: PETIT SAINT VINCENT - CARRIACOU:

Carriacaou no longer belongs to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines but belongs to Granada. Here we can take a bus to make excursions or continue exploring beaches that will never cease to amaze us before its impressive paradisiacal beauty.

Day 8: CARRIACOU - GRANADA:

Granada is an island of the most beautiful and with real postcard beaches, and where we can enjoy a shower in natural waterfalls, so we will go to the bays located in the south as Pirckly Bay or Calivigny Island, and where we can immediately detect that we are in an area with residential constructions of megarricos. In addition, here we can again find supermarkets and services. There is also the possibility of visiting Saint George, its colorful capital, where there is also the first park with underwater sculptures from around the world: The Underwater Sculpture Park, in Moliniere Bay and north of the city.
