TARGET:
Train students to carry out functions related to the radiocommunication service on ships covered by the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) in maritime zones A1, A2, A3 and A4, both for regular communications and in distress situations , urgency and security, communication with maritime rescue, watchtowers or coordination of rescue operations.

MANAGED:
To the captains and officers in charge of the navigational watch of civil vessels covered by the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System in any navigation zone, as well as nautical-fishing graduates.

HOMOLOGATION:
The program complies with the Official Resolution of June 15, 2017 of the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine.

    Course duration - 120 hours

    Theory: 45 hours

    Internship: 75 hours

    The course is 100% face-to-face.

    Schedule:

    Week 1 - Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00

    2nd and 3rd week - Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00



    The minimum age for taking the course is 18 years old.



    All the necessary material for the development of the course is included, as well as equipment for the development of the course practices.



    The SMSSM General Operator qualification will be valid for 5 years and will include the expiration date.
