Copa Del Canal Regatta (Denia-Ibiza)

For the dates of October 6th to 7th, we offer places to participate in the XXII Copa del Canal regatta, with a trip from Denia to San Antonio de Ibiza.

The XXII Copa del Canal Cup is a Regatta of Height of Cruises, included in the calendar of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation and is a scoring Regatta for the Territorial Championship of the Mediterranean Zone in ORC.

It is aimed at all people who want to start or improve, in the practice of the tall sailing cruiser as well as in regatta. No previous experience is necessary.

We will impart it on our sailboat "Selene III" a 42 foot Baltic very equipped and prepared for regattas and high altitude cruising.

The course will be taught by Antonio Almería, professional skipper and yacht captain, oceanic sailor and sailor (four Atlantic crossings, two of them in regatta), with more than 35 years of experience.

Plan

The program of the course would be the following:

-Friday October 5th: After 17 boarding, distribution of cabins, and purchase for the regatta. 21h Dinner in the area (at the neckline)

(You can spend the night on the boat from Friday afternoon, if it was Saturday it would have to be before 9:30)

-Saturday October 6: From 7 to 9 hours, sailor breakfast, 9:30 Meeting of skippers, 10:00 explanation of the maneuver of the ship and distribution of posts, 11:00 Departure from the regatta.

-Domingo, October 7: 14: 00h Lunch and delivery of trophies at the Club Nautico de San Antonio. After the delivery of trophies, we will set sail for Denia, to arrive on Sunday night at dawn on Monday (between 12 and 1 in the morning).

Equipment necessary to participate in the course: sleeping bag, non-black rubber-soled shoes, water clothes, sailing gloves.

No previous experience is necessary.
