The boarding takes place at 16:00 hours on the first day at the Marina in Portisco (Sardinia). The disembarkation occurs at approximately 9:00 am on the last day at the same point.
LEARN TO NAVIGATE
During this week you can also learn to navigate. We developed the didactic program of the Royal Yachting Association: RYA Competent Crew. A totally practical training!
BOATING IN MARINA PORTISCO
This marina is 12 km from the airport of Olbia (Sardinia), so it is very easy to get to the ship. In this marina we will find a good pizzeria (remember that we are in Italy, the country of pizza), a restaurant and a small supermarket to stock up on provisions for the week.
We wait for the crew on Saturday afternoon, we distribute the cabins, we will make the purchase and we will have a welcome meeting where we will explain the details of the organization. Then we go to dinner together and meet!
NAVIGATION BY THE ARCHIPELAGO OF LA MAGDALENA
These islands are a national park with little urban development. Enjoy beautiful coves of sand and cobalt blue waters that surround the islands and make this place one of the most idyllic environments that can be found in the Mediterranean.
The main attraction of a visit to the Magdalena Islands are the wonderful anchorages, largely virgin, that we will visit for lunch, before mooring in the port. On land we will visit the city, with small orange-hued houses and plants hanging from their balconies. Stoned streets for a perfect evening of wines.
NAVIGATION TO BONIFACIO (FRANCE)
This will be the main destination of our route. The entrance of Bonifacio in Corsica is one of the most spectacular natural harbors of the Mediterranean. Located at the head of a deep fjord, we will protect ourselves from the winds coming from any direction.
Bonifacio is the most extraordinary, special, beautiful and magical of the citadels that defend the coasts of the island of Corsica. It is one of the most interesting, beautiful and picturesque ports in the entire Mediterranean, not only because of its geographical location, isolated from the rest of the island by a narrow isthmus that made it virtually impregnable to any land attack, but also by the charm of its historical center collected between walls and overturned on itself
We enjoy the shade of local cafes and delight our palate in local restaurants, ending our evening at a local bar for a drink or two. By the way, we are in France!
NAVIGATION UP TO PORTO VECCHIO
Very small and picturesque city built on a compact grid of narrow streets. Ancient fortifications surround the city and within its heart we find the Republic Square, which is lined with lively cafes, bars and restaurants.
From the top of the fortifications we can see the whole city and the marshes that surround it. We will spend the night here enjoying dinner at a French restaurant and drinking some wines at night.
Beaches of sand, crystal blue water and stone boulders scattered along the coast make an outstanding night anchorage. This will be a night to watch the stars, sing on the boats and enjoy the company while we have dinner on board.
To contrast with the other larger ports we visited previously, we will arrive at this small harbor hidden in a remote bay for up to 30 boats. This is a perfect place for a relaxed afternoon, some excursion or if someone takes it, to play a musical instrument?
STOPS TO EAT
Where will we eat? In places like bays or beaches, some of them are suitable for eating and others for the night. If we spontaneously decide that somewhere is worth staying longer, why not? We are open to spontaneity so let's spend the night there! There's nothing better than waking up the next morning and starting the day with a dip in the refreshing waters of the Mediterranean!
LAST DAY REGATTA
On Friday, the last day of our cruise, we organized a regatta. We will put our newly learned skills into practice. The bosses will not help at all! It's competitive, it's fun and there will be prizes!
