The boarding takes place the first day at 16:00 hours in the Split Marina port. The disembarkation occurs on the last day at the same point about 9:00 o'clock approximately.
LEARN TO NAVIGATE
During this week you can also learn to navigate. We developed the didactic program of the Royal Yachting Association: RYA Competent Crew. A totally practical training!
BOARDING IN SPLIT
The arrival from the Split airport to the Split Marina lasts only about 20 minutes. It is a perfect place for our port of embarkation and to start our sailing holidays in Croatia.
We will meet at the Marina Split to distribute the cabins, make the purchase and have a welcome meeting where we will explain the details of the organization. We will visit the city and discover the Diocletian's Palace (UNESCO), explore narrow cobblestone streets and admire the views on the promenade. We will make a welcome dinner at one of the traditional '' konobas '' restaurants and enjoy some of the best young musicians in Split at Peristil Square.
NAVIGATION IN HVAR
We leave our boats at anchor in Palmizana Marina, in the Pakleni Otoci National Park, whose port is considered the most beautiful marina in all of Croatia. After taking a water taxi to Hvar, we can access magnificent views from the Castle of Spanjola after a short walk. There are bars on the beach, restaurants and a great atmosphere! This city is very popular among sailors who make routes in Croatia so we can meet many interesting people. We will walk around the city and after dinner we will go to the beach '' Hula Hula '' to see the sunset and have a drink.
Alternatively to visit Hvar, we can take a walk through wonderfully green and vibrant trails and explore the lush vegetation. Walking 10 minutes on foot through a subtropical forest, we can find some interesting restaurants. This plan is ideal for lovers of nature.
NAVIGATION IN SCEDRO
Scedro means charming in Croatian. Abundant pine forests cover the whole island, the bays are beautiful and quiet, and the only civilization around are some restaurants where we can moor. Or, otherwise we can anchor in an uninhabited bay and disconnect. We can cook on board, listen to music and enjoy the tranquility and scenery!
NAVIGATION IN KORCULA
We head to the beautiful island of Korcula. In this area we can visit its beautiful old town and interesting streets, as well as having a drink in the bar Massimo Coctail which is located in a medieval tower and enjoy live music.
This interesting place has it all, from a fortress where in the past it served as a shield in wars with defense towers, to a spectacular artistic culture.
We arrived sailing to this mysterious island of Croatia. It was a zone of military exclusion until 1989 and also tells the legend that it was the base of a pirate.
Today the whole island is a Natural Park. It has the highest density of fish in Croatia, there are many hiking trails, secluded beaches and some settlements. We can tie ourselves up and walk up a hill to enjoy the sunset, explore underground tunnels, ruined factories and return to our boats to eat something on board, have fun and chat among the crew of the flotillas. We can even make a fire on the beach!
RETURN TO SPLIT
We put an end to this wonderful journey by navigating to where we started this route, Marina Split. The last day we disembark at 9:00 in the morning to be able to return to our homes.
STOPS TO EAT
Where will we eat? In places like bays where we can also snorkel. We will ponder and enjoy the beauty and nature. We will eat on board, swim in crystal clear water, take the sun and relax.
LAST DAY REGATTA
We will have a regatta on Friday, the last day of our cruise through Croatia. We put our newly learned skills into practice. The bosses will not help anything! The bosses will not help at all! It's competitive, it's fun and there will be prizes!
