We will sail through northern Dalmatia, full of small islands scattered along our route. We will stay in remote bays, we will walk through the hills in search of sunsets and enjoy a delicious meal with local ingredients. This is a journey where we will have the opportunity to admire the sunset almost every day! We visited Kornati and Telascica: two beautiful national parks, an old fortified city of Sibenik and the archipelago of Kaprije where we will have the possibility of observing dolphins.

Our trips are not a planned itinerary that is always the same. This means that the exact order of the scales may be different from the one presented below.

The boarding will take place at 16:00 hours at Sukosan Marina on the first day, and the disembarkation will take place at 9:00 hours on the last day at the same point.

During this week you can also learn to navigate. We developed the didactic program of the Royal Yachting Association: RYA Competent Crew. A totally practical training!

Marina Sukosan is only 7 km from an ancient city of Zadar. It will serve as a perfect starting point for our adventure of embarking on a journey through more than 250 islands in northern Dalmatia.
The arrival from the airport of Zadar to Marina Sukosan will take you only 10 minutes (5 km).

Once we arrive at the meeting point we distribute the cabins, we will make the purchase and we will have a welcome meeting where we will explain the details of the organization. Then we go to dinner together to have dinner in the old town of Zadar and to meet us!

Vrgada is a beautiful island with a large sandy beach, a small settlement and a large uninhabited bay where we anchor the entire flotilla. In this way, we will get to know each other better by sharing a meal cooked on board, admiring stars, listening to music and enjoying the night baths. It's a night to relax and get away from the city's mockery.

Sibenik is a Venetian fortress built on the Dalmatian coast. It is near the river Krka, which flows into the Adriatic Sea. Today it is the third largest city in Dalmatia and worth visiting. There are four fortresses to see, each of them offering a spectacular view over the sea, the city and the nearby islands. We walk through a labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets and visit the best places of interest: St. James's Cathedral, the gardens of St. Lawrance Monastery, the town square and ending up in one of the traditional restaurants that serve dishes with local ingredients. To end the evening, we enjoyed the bars near our boats, which are moored at the pier of the city.

No vehicles are allowed on the island of Kaprije. The local community lives from fishing, tourism and the cultivation of olives and capers. We will enjoy a day to dive and we will have time to relax while anchoring to eat. For the location of the night stop we chose an area with nearby restaurants. One of our favorites is the Babalu Grill Bar, where we can try the famous roasted Seabass dish. The archipelago of Kaprije is also the place where we have the best chance of detecting dolphins!

We head to the Kornati National Park, characterized by an arid environment and few restaurants. It has an incredible underwater life. We will anchor in the bay Modra and we can make a walk to a nearby hill (190 meters high) where we can enjoy an unforgettable sunset view and a dip at night where we can see brilliant plankton. In the Kornati Islands there are not many lights, so we can enjoy a lighting of the sky and the stars.

We will head to the Telascica National Park, where we can enjoy landscapes full of vertical cliffs and abundant trees. The bays are calm and ideal to moor and contemplate the underwater life of this area. In addition there are numerous hills where we can contemplate the landscapes seen from above.

The penultimate day we will head back to the Marina Sukosan where we disembark the last day at 9:00 in the morning.

Where will we eat? In places like bays where we can also snorkel. We will ponder and enjoy the beauty and nature. We will eat on board, swim in crystal clear water, take the sun and relax.

We will have a regatta on Friday, the last day of our cruise through Croatia. We put our newly learned skills into practice. The bosses will not help anything! The bosses will not help at all! It's competitive, it's fun and there will be prizes!

I usually fly solo when traveling, and it never occurred to me to sign up for a package tour. But I took a gamble here and they exceeded my expectations. They have somehow figured out how to get adults to buy into a sincere spirit of group adventure and camaraderie without it ever feeling forced. And obviously, the locations are beautiful, the other people are engaging, the sailing is fun (you'll grow in confidence throughout the week), and it's clear that the Dominick and his team really care about the experience they are creating. You can easily do this trip alone, with friends, or with your significant other. I'm sure I'll sail with them again.

Stop thinking about sailing with them... and just book it. You’ll love it!
Your fellow crew members are a wonderful bunch – and we had the most laid-back skipper ever to roam the Med. The scenery is amazing and varied: you’ll moor-up in a port one night amongst super-yachts then drop anchor the following night in a nearly-deserted bay. You’ll learn so much if you’ve never sailed before, but it’s all really relaxed.
I’m so glad I took the plunge – you will be too.
Maybe see you out there one day soon...

Badly organized trip, old boat not prepared with equipment for the entire crew and unprofessional skipper (untrustworthy, drinking durin the sailing, etc.).
It could have been an excellent week, it's a pity.
