Stage 1
Favignana is the main island of the Aegadian Islands. Due to its geomorphological conformation, the island offers both beaches and caves, making it the perfect destination for those who love seaside resorts, characterized by clear, transparent waters.
The island has two main beaches: Cala Azzurra, a small sandy bay in the south, and the wide beach of Lido Burrone. More spectacular and captivating are the rocky coves of Cala Rossa and Cala del Bue Marino, characterized by tuff quarries and stunning seabeds. Finally, the Punta Longa, Previto, and Faraglioni areas are places where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets, where the sky is tinged with marvelous colors.
Stage 2
Marettimo is the second largest island in the Egadi archipelago, preceded by Favignana and followed by Levanzo. It is undoubtedly the wildest and most pristine of the archipelago. Caves are its main natural feature: between the above-ground and submerged ones, there are more than 400!
Of particular note among the sea caves are the Grotta del Tuono (also known as Grotta del Presepe) and the Grotta del Cammello. Due to its shape, few beaches can be reached by land; among them, however, is the beautiful Cala Bianca, with its pebbles and clear waters, located on the slopes of the Punta Troia promontory.
Stage 3
Off the northern coast of Favignana, Levanzo is the oldest of the Aegadian islands, as evidenced by the graffiti discovered in the Genovese Cave, dating back to 9200 BC. The historic center sits on the shore of Cala Dogana, overlooked by a Saracen watchtower. It is the smallest island in the archipelago, and the lack of roads makes it an ideal destination for trekking enthusiasts, exploring picturesque and easily accessible trails to discover ancient shelters and endemic plant species.
