Buenas tardes
I just saw this email and I already know that my friend Nerea has written to you. I only comment basically the same as her. The first day on the ship I already learned that the owner was not Savas, just an intermediary and I did not like that information or that the day before I had been trying to talk to him asking a series of questions that he never answered. All this makes you lose confidence somewhat. If it is also added that we found out that we have paid € 480 more, this is almost 50% more than the amount, which (at least that we know) other Spaniards who do contract directly with the shipowner and could also pay 30% of reservation and the 70% remaining the week before starting the trip and we all together 100%, because the truth is that my experience with Savas has not been good. The worst of all is that these other Spaniards and from what they told us they did not give them a special price, or a family discount, they were exactly the same conditions as us and published on their website. It is true that we have hired and accepted him, in that there was no opacity, but honestly, the benefit through an intermediary is excessive. Add that I dive, so I usually go to many boats, and I assume that obviously there are different prices within the other clients but with differences of 10-20% at most but 50% is excessive adding the payment conditions.
Regardless of this, I also say that the schooner was perfect, the crew very good especially the cook who cooked for 10 and the cabin boy Josie who was always attentive to everything. The very good route too.
Just add finally that when I saw your page, I contacted a friend who usually sails a lot around the Levante and the Balearic Islands and she gave me good references from you, but I would recommend that you be the only intermediaries with the shipowner to avoid excessive payments and misunderstandings .
Sorry for the harsh assessment but the truth is that we have felt bad and cheated by this difference in amount and conditions.
Greetings
