Day 1 – Saturday – Olbia / Cala Spalmatore Tavolara (Sailing time: 1:30h)
Once boarding is complete, the Captain will set sail and we will arrive at Cala Spalmatore after just 10 nautical miles, where we will take a mooring buoy for the night with the opportunity for an afternoon swim. In case the bay is very crowded, we will stay in La Saline Bay which offers a quiet anchorage. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 2 – Sunday - Tavolara / Molara / S. Teodoro / Bahía de Ira (Sailing time: 4h)
After breakfast you will have the opportunity to choose between swimming in the bay or going ashore to visit the beautiful island of Tavolara. After a short 2 mile sail, we will arrive at the Molara 'pools', for a dip in dazzling turquoise waters. The trip will continue another 5 nautical miles towards La Cinta de San Teodoro, a long, narrow stretch of golden sand between the sea and a lagoon. Weather permitting, we'll stop at Capo Coda Cavallo, a beautiful backdrop for lunch on board. In the afternoon the boat will sail north to the Bay of Ira, just after Porto Rotondo (approximately 20 miles), we will reach the bay or stop at the Gulf of Marinella around 18:30. With a short boat ride, we can visit lively Porto Rotondo, a hotbed of VIPs, shops and clubs, for an evening stroll. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3 – Monday – Bahía de Ira / Caprera / La Maddalena (Sailing time: 4:30h)
We set sail for 13 nautical miles, towards Caprera, an archipelago of La Maddalena, to the famous Cala Coticcio or 'Tahiti', a true paradise with its emerald waters and white sand. Stop for swimming during approximately lunch on board. Depending on weather conditions, we will sail to one of these stops: Cala Napoletana, Passo della Moneta, Spiaggia del Polpo or Cala Garibaldi, all in Caprera 3/4 nautical miles away. Then we will arrive at La Maddalena, at the Cala Mangiavolpe dock for the night at 8 nautical miles. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4 – Tuesday - La Maddalena / Spargi / Razzoli / Budelli (Sailing time: 2:30h)
After breakfast and a tour of the town of La Maddalena, we will set sail from the pier around 11 am towards the island of Spargi, in Cala Corsara or Cala dell'Amore (depending on weather conditions) for lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Budelli Island and Pink Beach, often named one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, due to the color of its sand, rich in small fragments of coral, granite and shells. We will then sail towards Spiaggia del Cavaliere and Porto della Madonna and continue towards Cala Santa María or Razzoli in Cala Lunga or Spargi in Cala Ferrigno for the opportunity to explore the island (the above will be determined by weather conditions). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5 - Wednesday – Razzoli / Bonifacio (Navigation time: 2:30 H)
Departure at 10 am towards the Strait of Bonifacio and we will sail to Capo Petrusato for a lunch stop under the cliffs of Gourvenail de la Corse or Plage de Saint Antoine at 10 nautical miles. In the afternoon, we will enter the Port of Bonifacio, a magnificent port built at the end of the 19th century. While we are anchored here, you can enjoy a pleasant walk through the heart of the medieval fortification of the Bonifacio citadel. If you dare, you can climb the 187 steps that King Alfonso of Aragon excavated in the rock. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6 – Thursday - Bonifacio / Lavezzi / Pevero or P.to Vecchio (Sailing time: 5h)
If the Mistral wind is light, we will explore the islands of the Lavezzi group or the Cavallo Island or the Piana Island in the morning, depending on the weather conditions, then we will cross the Strait of Bonifacio and stop in Santa Teresa di Gallura for lunch. After lunch, we will sail south towards Capo d'Orso and then anchor in the Gulf of Pevero. Depending on the wind, we will stay there or in Canniggione or Porto Cervo, very close by. The Porto Cervo pedestrian area of these towns offers many shops, bars and nightlife. Dinner and overnight on board. If the Mistral is too strong, instead of the above, we will sail towards Santa Manza beach and explore the southeast of the island of Corsica, anchoring in the bay of Rondinara or Portonovo. Dinner and overnight on board in Porto Vecchio.
Day 7 – Friday – Pevero or P.to Vecchio / Romazzino / G. Aranci / Olbia (Sailing time: 4-5 H)
We will set sail towards the south of the island and stop at Liscia di Vacca or Romazzino Beach or the nearby Prince's Beach, named after the Arab prince Aga Khan, founder of the Emerald Coast as we know it today. I have fallen in love with this beach and you will too! Stop to swim and have lunch on board. After a short navigation of approximately 6/7 nautical miles along the coast, we will arrive at one of these incredible places: Cala di Volpe, Liscia Ruja, Petra Bianca and Petra Niedda, with its impalpable pale pink sand and the yellow and pink protected granite rocks. Swimming stop in Cala Moresca, 9 nautical miles in Golfo Aranci, before continuing the journey for the last 8 miles towards our base in Olbia. Dinner and overnight on board.
