Arrival in the afternoon to the pearl of southern Corsica: Bonifacio, as beautiful as it is spectacular! Entering the port of Bonifacio is very impressive because the port is dominated by a huge cliff, on which the fortified city is located. The inhabitants used to say that this vast fjord was where Ulysses' black ship once took refuge during his Odyssey. Anchoring for the night.
Day 4: Bonifacio – Lavezzi Archipelago (Sailing time: 3h00).
After breakfast, departure to the Lavezzi Islands.
The extraordinary appearance of this pile of rocks gives the feeling that we are back in the Stone Age. This marine and terrestrial sanctuary primarily protects a rare species of seagulls that nest within the vast rocks, as well as countless fish in the turquoise waters. The boulders, piled high, create small internal rooms whose walls are polished by erosion. Lunch at this paradisiacal anchorage, then swimming and nautical activities. Anchoring on the island of Piana, a nature reserve where the waters are so clear that you can see the white sandy bottom, 3 or 4 meters deep.
Day 5: Piana Island – Anse de Rocapina (Sailing time: 3h00).
After breakfast, snorkel and relax in a natural aquarium.
After lunch, we will sail towards Rocapina and its small cove, dominated by its “lion”. Anchoring for the night.
Day 6: Anse de Rocapina – Gulf of Valenco – Propriano (Sailing time: 3h00).
Nautical activities, relaxation and swimming after breakfast. Departure to Propriano after lunch. Navigation along the coasts of the Gulf of Valenco and arrival in Propriano.
