Breathe in the Nordic sea air and come with us to the Danish South Sea!
Your Baltic Sea sailing trip deserves the label: “suitable for beginners and experienced people alike” plus “the best time on the water”. You set course from Flensburg for the Danish South Sea islands such as Als, Funen and Ærø. Enjoy cozy evenings in the harbor, shore excursions planned individually by the crew and expansive landscapes while sailing along.
Arrival:
Most people travel to Flensburg by car, others come to Germany's northernmost city by train. Everyone is in the harbor by 4 p.m. at the latest to organize and get to know each other. The group is rather small. You will set sail for the next few days with around five to seven fellow sailors. Today you will go shopping together, discuss the route with the destination "Danish South Seas" and receive a safety briefing on board after 5 p.m.
On the first day (Saturday) the sailing trip begins in Flensburg, where the crew meets in the harbor between 2 and 4 p.m. and gets provisions.
On the second day (Sunday) you sail to Sønderborg on the island of Als and explore the historic city center.
On the third day (Monday) we continue to Lyø, where you can enjoy the picturesque landscape of the island and end the day with a sunset on board.
On the fourth day (Tuesday) you reach Svendborg, explore the city and enjoy the local gastronomy.
On the fifth day (Wednesday) the journey continues to Marstal on the island of Ærø, where you will experience the charming atmosphere of the fishing town.
On the sixth day (Thursday) they make a detour to Schleimünde and relax on the beach.
Why is your sailing trip on the Baltic Sea over so quickly? You would love to extend your vacation on the Danish South Sea. Instead, with a heavy heart, you leave the yacht with the other sailors by 9:00 a.m. "What are you doing next?" asks one of them. "Let's go to the harbor and the long beach promenade!" And maybe you'll add another day in Germany's northernmost city, Flensburg. It's worth it!
On the seventh day (Friday) they return to Flensburg and end their sailing trip.
