The best time to sail this route is from May to October. We expect predominantly moderate to fresh winds from northerly to northwesterly directions. Temperatures are pleasantly mild, and there are plenty of hours of sunshine. Rain gear is still recommended, however, as rapid weather changes are possible on the Atlantic.
