Hello sailors!!! Welcome aboard this 12-meter long Beneteau Océanis 393.
We set sail from Ayamonte on Friday afternoon as soon as you can arrive and after passing under the international bridge that connects Spain and Portugal we begin to climb the Guadiana. We will see the sunset and when night falls anchored in the river we will spend that 1 night. The next morning, Saturday, we lifted anchor and continued upstream until reaching Sanlucar de Guadiana, on the Spanish side, and Alcoutin, on the Portuguese shore, at midday.
We spent the day visiting these beautiful towns in the Spanish Andevalo and Portuguese Alentejo. We go out to dinner and return to the boat, guitar, songs, talks and rest. The next morning, Sunday, we began to calmly go down the river to arrive in the afternoon again to Ayamonte where our journey ends. During navigation you can enjoy very beautiful landscapes!!! The banks soon become wooded hills, dotted with white houses. Birds of prey and aquatic birds abound; herons, egrets, ducks, seagulls... It is easy to see turtles, galapagos and a serene and well-preserved nature.
