A week-long tour of the most beautiful of the magical Aeolian Islands.
We'll begin in Lipari, where we'll leave the port and sail briefly toward the first cove on the western shore. The coves are chosen by the skipper each day based on wind and sea conditions. Once we arrive at the bay, we drop anchor and begin our first dips in the sea while waiting for the hostess to prepare a delicious lunch. We typically stay in the bay we arrive at in the morning for the entire day, enjoying the tranquility of the place, exploring it with swimming, snorkeling, and tender excursions, until the evening, when we move to the anchorage where we spend the night.
The following day, we'll head to Filicudi after a lovely three-hour sail. We'll anchor near the striking pinnacle of La Canna Rock and enter the Grotta del Bue Marino by tender. For the night, we'll change anchor, circling the small island to anchor at Pecorini a Mare, where those who wish can enjoy a lovely sunset aperitif in one of the traditional shoreside bars.
On the third day, we'll sail to Salina, arriving in about two or three hours, where we'll dive into the majestic Pollara Bay (known from the film "Il Postino" [The Postman]). After lunch, we'll head to Santa Marina Salina and Lingua, where the famous mulberry granita at the ice cream parlors on land is a must.
On the fourth day, you have two options: if you're looking for a long sail (3-4 hours), your destination will be Stromboli. If you're looking for a shorter sail (an hour and a half), you can stop at Panarea.
On the fifth day, you'll either choose Stromboli or Panarea, depending on your choice the day before. Anchoring at Stromboli includes a short boat excursion under the spectacular Sciara del Fuoco (Stream of Fire). After dinner, after dark, we'll set sail and cruise to see the volcano's eruptions; then we'll return to the anchorage for the night.
On the sixth day, you'll visit the fascinating island of Vulcano, with its solfataras and sulfurous mud baths. Before arriving, you can stop for a swim at the Lisca Bianca rocks.
On the seventh day, we set sail for Lipari, a swim in the sparkling Pumice Stone Quarry, and then return to port. And we say goodbye.
This program is indicative as it may vary and be modified due to weather forecasts.
