Destination: Arrival in Le Marin, Martinique. Sighting the first Caribbean island after weeks at sea is an unforgettable moment. The lush vegetation and Caribbean flair are the ultimate reward.

The full high seas experience: From navigation and watch planning to sailing maneuvers and everyday life on board – you are an active member of the crew.

Leg 2:
The Atlantic crossing from Cape Verde to Le Marin (approx. 2,100 NM)
Duration: approx. 14-20 days of continuous sailing

Route: This is the major crossing.
We follow the steady trade winds on a consistent westerly course. Pure bluewater sailing awaits you, with endless horizons, spectacular starry skies, flying fish, perhaps dolphins, and the meditative peace and vastness of the Atlantic.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english and german. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

Your requirements profile:
You are a motivated, adaptable and team-oriented crew member.
You have already gained initial offshore experience, are seaworthy, and ready to actively participate in the watch system.
Respect for the open sea is mandatory for you.

Costs & Included Services:
The cost for the berth for the sailing trip from Tenerife to Mindelo is: €990
The cost for the berth for the trip from Mindelo to Martinique is €1990.
The cost for the berth for the ENTIRE trip from Tenerife to Martinique is: €2950
And these include final cleaning, excluding food/onboard expenses and your arrival/departure.

Onboard cash:
The following additional costs (ship's kitty) will be incurred during the trip:
For any port fees, provisions on board and fuel, which will be charged according to consumption,
Expect to pay approximately €250 per person per week.

Fleet Lagoon 440. Equipped for long-distance cruising.
In addition to 2 wind generators and 5 solar panels, we also have a watermaker on board that produces about 30-40 liters of fresh water per hour.

The pantry is also equipped with all necessary cooking utensils.
Among other things, 2 refrigerators, a 3 burner gas stove and a reverse osmosis fresh water system.

We take a maximum of 6 guests on our trips.

Great sailing trip through the Croatian islands.
As a couple, we spent a week with four other (previously unknown) people on Chtis's catamaran.
It was a fantastic trip with great weather, a fantastic crew and a top skipper.
