We did the Jewels of the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel. The staff are top notch and everyone is there to make sure you have a great time. The food and wine was too good and I will need to do some work when I get home. Special thanks to Carla the cruise director and Jensen our cabin man. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want. The tours were good and we saw a lot in a short time. You sail through castles, vinards and beautiful villages. The towns we visited were like fairytales Sometime I felt a little rushed But that's how group tours are I recommend taking the electric bikes out during free time. I also enjoyed the pool and the exercise room. Other guests were friendly and I enjoyed meeting people. The demographic was mostly over 60 with a few 40 to 55 ish. I took hundreds of pictures but none of the ship. We had a panoramic room. Very nice and comfortable.

Absolutely the best holiday ever. We totally enjoyed everything on this river cruise - our room, the food and wine, the tours, our free time, the staff are amazing. Sitting with different people every night for dinner was interesting and fun. Seriously there was nothing we did not love on this 15 day river cruise. If you are thinking about going - do it! You do need to be fairly active and you can do as much or as little of the organized tours as you want to. It was fabulous pulling into a new town or city everyday.
