About me
Hi everyone! My name is Fede and I am a passionate Menorcan from the sea, nautical and the Balearic Islands as a whole!
In addition to being a navigator, I am a doctor in Marine Ecology and I have been fortunate to be able to work in France, Norway and Australia always linked to the sea, in one way or another.
I speak Catalan (native), Spanish (native), English (high)
Nautical experience
For years I have been dedicated to renting boats in the Balearic Islands and have worked as a professional skipper, both on private boats and on charter company boats, (almost) always on sailing boats with lengths between 12 and 19 meters. . I also have experience racing in ORC1 and J80, although I honestly enjoy the "life on board" plan more than pure and simple competition.
I have sailed through the Indian Ocean (Western Australia), the Atlantic (Portugal, northern Spain and Ireland) and the Mediterranean (Greece, Italy, the Levant Peninsular and the Balearic Islands), although it is in the Mediterranean where I feel at home. The area where I sail the most, and where I have been sailing for years, covers any of the Balearic Islands. At the navigation level, my priority is safety on board, both for the boat and its crew.
