About me

My name is Juan Carlos, and recently I was able to finally buy my first boat, which is currently my houseboat. I love the sea and everything related to it, being able to share my knowledge with those who are passionate about the sea and sailing is always a great pleasure.

I speak Spanish (native), English (high), French (high)

Nautical experience

I have been sailing since I was 6 years old, and since I was 19 as a captain. Being a captain I have traveled the entire Spanish and Portuguese coast – Basque Country, Galicia, Berlangas, Algarve, Andalusia, Murcia, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, etc. –, sailing on different types of sailboats from classic wooden ones to racing trimarans.

I usually navigate guided by the stars, without detracting from the wonderful GPS but using it as an auxiliary means instead of the main one. Fishing, diving, surfing and sunsets are usually the routine on board.

Coco is a great captain and good people. The journey was very fun and he shared his sailing knowledge with us. The sailboat sails spectacularly and is in perfect condition. Fully recommended experience; if I have the opportunity, I will repeat.
