Sometimes a journey doesn't begin with a plan,
but with a moment.
A view back towards the coast of Athens.
The Acropolis stands above the city as our boat slowly leaves the harbor.
The islands of the Saronic Gulf open up before us.
After just a few miles, it becomes quiet.
The city disappears behind the horizon,
And between the islands, another world begins.
Hydra, Poros, Aegina – small ports with their own history.
Boats lie close to the pier, taverns open their doors to the sea.
We continue sailing slowly between these places.
Short strokes, warm water, a swim in the open sea.
In the evening, people sit under plane trees in a small square.
and listens to the quiet activity of an island port.
Athens remains far behind us.
And yet, you can feel the history of this coast everywhere.
A chapter set between antiquity and the sea.
POSSIBLE DRAMATURGY.
