Boat cruise week through the Paraguayan Chaco

El Chaco in Paraguay is one of the last untouched jungle-wetland, globally famous for its unique fauna and flora and accessible only on boats!

We are specialists in fishing trips and bird watching tours!

We leave Asuncion for a 5 days upriver adventure to Concepcion. We stop in Puero del Rosario, Puerto Antequera and Puerto Ybapobo. At least one night we spend in the jungle,anchoring in the middle of an untouched tropical paradise!

We navigate for safety reasons only daytime,Paraguay River can be dangerous and incalculable...
Refreshment,cafe,tea,water,terere and daily meals plus snacks included in the passage. Beer as well! No liquor on board,wine selection upon request.

After or before the river cruise you are welcome to stay on board!

Plan

We are leaving Nautica Remanso or Costanera de Asuncion in the morning hours. First day we stop around a beatiful island group,the TresBocas.
The second day we reach Puerto del Rosario,a beautiful area of lagoons and flamingos...
Next morning we continue our cruise to Antequera,a pretty little village wher time stood still.
Before arriving to Concepcion we stop for a night in an indigenous community,Puerto Ybapobo...one of the most lovely sandy beach of this part of the Rio Paraguay!
On the 5th day we moor in the OldPort of Concepcion,in the city center,close to the wonderfully preserved colonial old town.

Other information

Danubio is a 13m steel classic river cruiser,built in Concepcion,Paraguay 2020.
She offers all mod cons.: aircon,generator,sophisticated navigation and dafety equipment,SatPhone etc. Our aluminium lancha with new 9.9 HP outboard engine drives safely up to 4 passengesr,safely to discover small river inlets, go to shore or fishing. We also offer birdwatching binoculars and a professional fishing kayak.
We are specialized in tailor made cruises!
