Ready for an unforgettable experience? Set sail with us for a week between the pristine paradise of the La Maddalena Archipelago and the wild charm of southern Corsica.

It's not just a simple sailing holiday, but the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of sailing, have fun, and meet new friends from around the world in one of the most spectacular stretches of sea in the Mediterranean.

✨ Why is this cruise unique?
100% Sailing and Green Navigation: We'll respect the sea and nature throughout the week. We'll use only the power of the wind to propel us, living a sustainable and authentic lifestyle on board.

Learn and experience the boat: Whether you're a complete beginner or an enthusiast, you'll learn the basics and become an active member of the crew. You'll find insights and in-depth lessons directly on board with our expert instructor.

Postcard Moments: Unforgettable dives and swims await you in crystal-clear waters, dreamy coves, and breathtaking sunsets that paint the sky every evening.

The Emotion of Bonifacio: You will live the unique experience of sailing towards Corsica and, weather permitting, we will have the opportunity to enter the port in the evocative Bonifacio fjord, one of the most fascinating and spectacular places in the entire Mediterranean, nestled between imposing white cliffs.

Magical Nights on the Flotilla: In the evening, all the boats in the flotilla will dock together in the most sheltered bays. We'll sleep under the stars, chatting, laughing, and enjoying good company: a true seaside camping experience in true Velamare style!

You don't need experience, you just need the desire to get started!
Climb aboard, rediscover the rhythm of nature, and share an extraordinary journey with a fantastic crew!

    Navigation Program (Indicative)

    Important navigation note:
Sailing is freedom, but the sea always decides! This itinerary is intended as a hypothetical and dynamic plan. The exact route, anchorages, and daily stops will be assessed from time to time by the skipper in consultation with the fleet, always adapting to weather and sea conditions to ensure maximum relaxation and safety on board.

The stages of our ideal itinerary:
Day 1 | Boarding in Porto Massimo: Welcome aboard in the morning at our base in Porto Massimo (La Maddalena), cabin accommodations, food preparation, and a safety briefing before casting off and embarking on the adventure!

Day 2 | The Heart of La Maddalena: We begin exploring the archipelago, heading to the most iconic bays: from diving into the turquoise waters of Spargi to the sheltered coves of Caprera, perfecting our first flotilla sailing experiences.

Day 3 | The Natural Pools: A day spent sailing between Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria. We'll dive into the famous "natural pools" and prepare for an evening at anchor under a starry sky.

Day 4 | Heading for Corsica: With favorable weather, we'll sail through the Strait of Bonifacio to reach southern Corsica. We'll explore the wild and unspoiled landscapes of the islands of Lavezzi and Cavallo, among granite rocks and rich seabeds.

Day 5 | The Bonifacio Spectacle: Sail beneath the majestic limestone cliffs and enter the natural fjord of Bonifacio. Spend the evening ashore to stroll the narrow streets of the upper town and dine in the port's traditional restaurants.

Day 6 | Corsican Coves and the Return: A morning dedicated to diving in the splendid bays of the southern Corsican coast, such as Rondinara or Sant'Amanza. In the afternoon, we'll sail back to the archipelago for a final, unforgettable evening at anchor.

Day 7 | Return and Disembarkation: In the morning we will set sail for our base in Porto Massimo, with arrival expected by 10:00 am to allow for luggage sorting, cleaning of the boat and final farewells.

How to reach the embarkation point (La Maddalena)

By car

La Maddalena cannot be reached directly by car; the road journey ends at the port of Palau, where ferries depart for the island. From Olbia, the drive to Palau takes about 40-50 minutes (about 40 km) via the main roads of Gallura; from Arzachena, it's about 20-30 minutes; and from Cagliari, the drive takes about 3.5-4 hours. Vehicles are permitted on ferries connecting Palau to the island, with embarkation and disembarkation handled at the Palau port terminal.

By train

The nearest station for reaching Palau is Olbia, which is served by regional trains. The stations in Sassari are also useful, as are connections via the regional network to Olbia for those coming from the south. From Olbia station, continue by road via regional bus, taxi, or rental car to the port of Palau in about 40-50 minutes. From Sassari, the road journey to Palau takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the route and available bus or road connections.

✈️ By plane

The closest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda (OLB), about 40-50 minutes by road from the port of Palau; transfers can be made by taxi, bus, private shuttle, or car rental. Other useful airports for reaching Gallura are Alghero-Fertilia (AHO), with a longer road transfer, and Cagliari-Elmas (CAG), with significantly longer road transfer times. From these airports, you can continue by road to Palau and either pick up your vehicle or leave it before boarding to continue on to the ferry.

⛴️ By ferry/hydrofoil

The mandatory ferry service to La Maddalena departs from the port of Palau and arrives at the port of La Maddalena. Vehicle ferries and passenger hydrofoils are available. The main operator on the route is Delcomar. The crossing lasts approximately 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the type of vessel. Boarding, ticketing, and operational information are available at the Palau port terminal, while disembarkation takes place at the island's main port.
