Embark on the ocean experience aboard our magnificent sailboat to cross the Atlantic.

We will participate in the 2020 edition of the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) that departs on November 22 from Gran Canaria to Santa Lucia, in the Caribbean.

This Atlantic crossing is aimed at all those passionate about the sea and sailing with some experience. It is not a problem to debut at the crossing of the Atlantic! But if it is necessary to have made crossings of more than one day at sea, as well as stays of at least 1 week on board.

Plan
The start of the regatta is scheduled for November 22. It is essential to arrive in Gran Canaria on 17-18 to comply with the protocol of the regatta for sailboats and crew.
PCR tests must be carried out prior to boarding and leaving the voyage.
The entrance to Santa Lucia requires a previous quarantine of 14 days but, since the days that we will spend on board count, there will be no problem with the entrance to the country of destination.

In the days prior to departure, the bed-seat is already included on board, and they will serve to get to know the group and prepare the boat for sailing: navigation, safety and planning elements, provision of food and drink.

The boat
Elegance and high performance in its purest form. The older brother of the Beneteau shipyard cruise-regatta range, the First 50 combines sophisticated design with a high level of equipment, making it a fast sailing yacht without limiting comfort.

It is a 50 foot high level with a long black mast and a pronounced torpedo keel. A wide, open cockpit with two helm wheels for easy maneuvering, electrically controlled sizing winches for comfortable hoisting and trimming of sails, complex rod rigging with counter and high precision hydraulic control backstay. All this makes it an easily navigable boat with a small crew and at the same time, a boat that allows high-performance and stylish sailing if mastered with a racing team.

A spacious and clean deck, integral teak surface, and a large cushioned deck solarium above the cabin will give guests ultimate joy in the marine environment. The equipment consisting of the dinghy, snorkeling equipment, paddle surf and marine scooter will take you to the coves and the most remote corners with total comfort in addition to discovering the bottom of the sea like a dolphin.

Comfort does not end on the deck, the interior layout with 3 large double cabins, one of them suite with private bathroom, provides a luxurious accommodation for 6 people, with the capacity to accommodate up to 8 people. Equip a spacious and complete kitchen with gas oven and electric microwave. Big fridge and freezer. Diversity of compartments distributed throughout the boat to conveniently store clothes, food and all personal utensils that will facilitate a pleasant stay on board. An integral diesel heating system together with the water heater gives the top level in comfort.

Recently equipped with a state-of-the-art electronic navigation system makes it a very competitive boat for regattas and extremely practical for navigation on long-distance crossings in complete safety.

Fan of sport, food and nature. Study until you finish the university degree - industrial engineering. I consider myself a very active person and eager to discover new environments. Good host, I like to keep cleanliness and order when sharing a space.

Una experiencia muy recomendable. Navegamos con Miki un par de horas desde Calella de Palafrugell hasta Palamós recorriendo las calas y los rincones escondidos de esta parte tan espectacular de la Costa Brava. Sin duda que repetiremos.
