These are the areas and islands we'll visit along our route. The sailing program will be adapted to weather and sea conditions, allowing us to discover new corners of this splendid part of Sicily every day.
Zingaro Nature Reserve: Among the wonders of western Sicily, the Zingaro Nature Reserve is one of the most evocative and pristine places. It extends for approximately 7 km of coastline between Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo and is considered one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Sicily. We will visit it primarily from the sea, sailing along a wild coastline where there are no coastal roads, only hidden coves, small beaches, and crystal-clear waters. The seabed, rich in marine life, and the contrast between the blue sea, the green Mediterranean vegetation, and the white rocks create truly unforgettable scenery. Among the most picturesque spots to admire are Cala Marinella, Cala Berretta, and Punta della Capreria, ideal spots for a stop at anchor, a swim, or a snorkeling session.
San Vito Lo Capo: The beach of San Vito Lo Capo is one of the most famous and beloved in Italy, thanks to its fine white sand and incredibly turquoise sea. The gulf is framed by Mediterranean vegetation and offers a landscape reminiscent of the Caribbean. The transparent waters and gently sloping seabed make this location perfect for a long break dedicated to relaxation and swimming. In addition to the splendid beach, San Vito Lo Capo offers a picturesque promenade with numerous restaurants and eateries, where you can stop to savor local cuisine and soak up the village atmosphere.
The Island of Marettimo: Marettimo is the wildest and most pristine island of the Egadi archipelago. Its location, far from the Sicilian coast, and its mountainous terrain have helped preserve a valuable natural heritage. It is an ideal destination for those who love nature, trekking, and the most authentic sea. The island is crisscrossed by several scenic trails and is home to numerous sea caves, true natural masterpieces sculpted by water and time. Among the best-known are the Grotta del Presepe, famous for its stalactite and stalagmite formations, and the Grotta del Cammello. Along the coast are hidden small pebble bays and coves, accessible primarily by sea, perfect for swimming and admiring the seabed. Marettimo's clear waters are also particularly popular with diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, thanks to the rich marine flora and fauna.
The Island of Levanzo: Levanzo is the smallest of the three main islands of the Aegadian Islands, but it possesses a unique charm. Its landscape is characterized by whitewashed houses, Mediterranean vegetation, scenic trails, and small sandy and pebble beaches. Among the most beautiful coves are Cala Fredda, with its pebble beach, and Cala Minnola, a wilder, more natural spot. Levanzo also offers interesting opportunities for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. Its seabed hosts an important underwater archaeological trail. One of the most beautiful experiences is to circumnavigate the island by boat, admiring its coastline and the diverse hues of the sea, stopping at the most picturesque coves. It's also worth going ashore for a stroll along the trails and through the pine forest, enjoying the silence and views typical of Mediterranean islands.
The Island of Favignana: Also known as the Great Butterfly for its unique shape, Favignana is the largest island in the Egadi archipelago and one of western Sicily's most popular destinations. Its coastline alternates fine sandy beaches, caves, cliffs, and small coves lapped by incredibly clear waters. Among the most beautiful beaches are Lido Burrone and Cala Azzurra, while along the coast lie picturesque coves and bays such as Punta Lunga, Preveto, Faraglioni, and Punta Sottile. The true star of the show, however, is Cala Rossa, arguably the island's most famous bay: a spectacular landscape of rocks and coves overlooking a sea with hues ranging from deep blue to turquoise. Favignana's seabed is also perfect for snorkeling and diving, while history buffs can visit the former Florio factory, now a museum dedicated to the tradition of tuna fishing and processing.
What to do in Favignana? Here are some experiences not to be missed during a stay on the island:

Enjoy an aperitif on a boat at sunset. Relax on the beach of Cala Azzurra. Visit the characteristic fish market and discover traditional local products.
